Enough has been said about the Falcon game. A lot of analysis on what went wrong. The question here is has the coaching staff learned something and how will it show this weekend? The talk is to have Hitchens, Durant on the field and lessen Smiths playing time. Sounds ok but most of what Lee did was being a field general and I do not know if those two are up to the task. I have read that a different scheme should be used to cover the weakest at middle linebacker. This in my opinion is a good solution but does it solve the leadership on the field for directing others on a play?

The protection of Dak has been a story line this week and a lot of scenarios mentioned. All of them have Green being replaced and adding more help on that side. There is one with Colins moving from right tackle to left tackle, in my opinion this would be a last resort and not a good one. There is one to move Martin from guard to left tackle, this too sounds very iffy to me. My guess is that they have Dak in motion on most plays with quick passes and a better running effort.

The funny thing about the NFL is teams typically lose games they are “Supposed” to win, especially against division rivals. Cowboys by 3.

wonder if we get a triple platinum, secret-decoder ring, guarantee, sell everything that you own and put it on Dallas (Screw the points) win from Gorico? I sure hope so, can't stand any teams with a bird in their name...dumb falcons, stupid eagles

In 2014,when we were supposed to kill the Deadskins, we got beat by Colt McCoy lead Deadskins. So anything is possible.

Strange, but when the Cowboys are facing a "sure loss", a lot of flukey things happen...in our favor. Who knows? Wentz throws 3 picks and breaks his ribs again, Switzer channels his inner Sproles, Jaylon's instincts he had in College finally appear, Awuzie balls out, the Cowboys PR/KR coverage get back on track with turnovers giving Dak the ball inside the 20 (Wentz's staple), the refs start calling the penalties equally for both sides, etc.

We have problems up and down the organization. Its going to stay the same because both Jones boys will be hear next year and they are 40 percent problems themselves.

Not into predictions with a divisional game, but I will say this, a loss here starts a snowball effect of losses. The Cowboys need this game to establish some level of confidence. Another debacle like Atlanta and I think they fold.

This Eagles game will be the low-point of the Garrett Era. Philly is better than Atlanta in every phase of the game, and they're coming off of two weeks rest.

Go watch how Pederson schemed to neutralize Von Miler by not even bothering to have him blocked with a play-action that looked like an RPO for a pass over the top of Talib for an easy score. Pederson is scheming plays specifically to the opponent vs. "just running our plays". It's very depressing.

Unfortunately it's going to be ugly. I hope I'm wrong, but I foresee a 41-17 type game that is over by halftime. Eagles -3.5 seems like free $.

They had a bye week to prepare. The table is being set for a complete rout.

That is why if somehow by hook or crook, Dallas takes this, it will be a huge momentum and confidence boost.

I've already seen the fold.

It was that Falcons game.

No Elliott. No Tyron Smith. No Sean Lee.

No chance.

This is where I'm at too.

This could be Garrett's Waterloo. A Sunday Night beatdown where the team finally just quits on him and he stands on the sidelines with no answers.

If that gets the organization to finally make the much-needed changes? It might be worth it.

Not sure if this team is even smart enough to pack it in. They can look at their t-shirt and decide to FIGHT and just scrape and claw out a few more meaningless victories against other teams who have already mailed it in.

I'm sure the coaches would be angling for that in an effort to keep their jobs.

Rally the troops! Buy yourself another year of that sweet salary!

My thinking exactly - locked in the Eagles to cover at -3. With Jaylon Smith taking the majority of snaps at MLB, I do not see how this defense holds the Eagles under 40. I just can't fathom it. Seems like free money.

But I'd rather lose the bet and have the Cowboys win so I suppose it's a.......win-win?.......
