I may be alone on this one but I see the giants knotting things up this weekend with us, because I dont see our horrible defense being able to stop Vick on the run we will lose by 10

I was wondering if anyone else noticed Burris and his reactions on not getting thrown to.
Holding up his arms and mouthing off on the sidelines.

Believe me If it were T.O. thats all you would see on ESPN for the week.

I don't think the thread starter's point is that ridiculous a proposition. Certainly not after how we saw our team perform last night.

I truly don't know how to explain that. They dominated us, plain and simple. And if that is any indication of how prepared we are going to be and how well we're going to be playing against good football teams, we really have no business in the playoffs. The whole "who have they beaten" thing that was being thrown around about the Saints can now be applied to us, I feel.

We should win against the Falcons this Sunday, if we don't, I won't expect a division title for us, that's for sure. Also, if we can't beat the Falcons or Eagles, I don't think we have business in the playoffs, regardless of if we make it or not.

It's always easy after a loss like the one that we just had to react like this, however, this is the same defense that held the high powered Colts offense in check.

It is funny how we go from Super Bowl to S---Hole in a week, we have way too many fairweather fans, hell we won 4 in a row were playing off an emotional win. I beleive we kill ATL; reasons, there receivers suck. I say we commit to stopping the short pass and contain Vick. I doubt Vick will be heaving the ball for long TD's like Brees was. My message is too calm down if we lose next week then worry LOL. I doubt we will lose.

Fair enough. It could happen. In fact the Eagles smoke and mirrors act with Garcia will be exposed against a quality Giants team IMO, and a win against Atlanta is critical.

My main beef was with his assessment of our defense as horrible. One game does not a season make.

Regardless of what happens in the Eagles/Giants game, if the Cowboys lose Saturday, they will be in 2nd place. But since we still play Philly in Dallas, then sadly we must hope they win Sunday, should Saturday end badly.
