Eric Berry-DB- Player Mar. 22 - 12:36 pm et

Falcons GM Thomas Dimitroff indicated to SI's Peter King that he has good information that the Chiefs are unlikely to consider Tennessee S Eric Berry at No. 5 overall.

Dimitroff worked with Chiefs GM Scott Pioli in New England, and the two remain close. "I was talking to Scott Pioli about Berry, and I said, 'Scott, this guy's your pick,'" said Dimitroff. "And he said, 'You know how I feel about safeties that early.' And I understand." The history of safeties taken at the top of the draft is checkered at best. The Chiefs appear more likely to use their first-rounder on an offensive tackle.

If he fell to 10, I would do anything I could to move up.

Hold off on the O-line one more year and grab this once in a generation safety.

I would pencil in Bulaga at that spot; OT is about a 90% probability for them as they already have Dorsey at DT.

Think about the tumble affect if Berry kept sliding.

Not that we would have a shot at Berry, but all the players that would be pushed down for us.

Say Jacksonville or Frisco gets Berry. That's one less team for Earl:D
