Time to break down the head to head history between the Cowboys and the Falcons. First let's find out a little about the "dirty birds."

The Falcons joined the NFL in 1966. The Falcons are 6-8 all time in the Post Season. 2 of the losses are to the Cowboys. The first happend in 1978, 27-20 in Dallas. The second was in 1980, 30-27 in Atlanta.

Head to head the Cowboys lead the all time series 12-8. They've played 10 times in Dallas with the Cowboys owning a 7-3 advantage. That means they've played 10 times in Atlanta and the Cowboys break even at 5-5.

The Cowboys won the first 5 games in the History. Atlanta won the next meeting before the 2 Post Season Cowboys wins plus one more regular season win. The Falcons then won 2 in a row, followed by 2 in a row by the Cowboys, a Falcons win then 3 in a row by the Cowboys. The Falcons have won the last 2 meetings between the teams, in 2001 and 2003. That puts the longest win streaks at 5 for the Cowboys and 2 for the Falcons with a chance this week to reach 3 in a row.

Nice rundown. Ever thought of becoming a moderator? There's an opening.

Is being a Mod a full time job? Cause if it is and it pays well, I'm there!
