Anyone notice how all those first round "busts" at WR the falcons have all of the sudden don't look so bad anymore?

Gee, I wonder why that is?

Are you talking about Joe Horn? He played for the Saints for years, and was their #1.

Don't feel sorry for Horn-he made a big fuss when the Saints cut him(due to the salary cap, and he was injury prone too). Now what a mess he really got himself into.

He's probably talking about Roddy White and Michael Jenkins.

Where did I say they looked "Good"?

Those WRs are looking BETTER then they did before, that's for sure.

Some of you are just REALLY REALLY slow.

Falcons' WRs looked bad to me, but White's dropped TD of a pass I could have caught may have influenced me.

I saw Vanna White drop an easy TD catch in the end zone. You mean that guy?

I have no idea who Vanna White is. Vanna could be a girl's name.
Roddy White dropped the pass to which I refer.

I haven't seen them in preseason, but I know that a lot of what I saw last season was drops of very catchable balls. I don't know which team had worse hands - the Falcons or the Jags, but both were completely laughable

Not really-the fact that Vick would go around scrambling FIRST, *then* passing-frankly, when he does this, it AFFECTS the velocity of his throws having to throw on the run all the time, and his receivers don't have much time to anticipate what kind of velocity is coming at them.

Wow. Do you really delude yourself into believing this? If you are an NFL wide receiver, you catch balls that are thrown to you.

True-but ultimately, it's about *timing*. It's in the mental aspects of receivers minds to run their route, catch, run. A timing thing.

I've also seen many games where QBs are constantly getting hurried, sacked, and hit throughout the game-what happens subsequently? They start hurrying their throws more, their velocity gets affected, and all of a sudden their receivers get butterfingers.

Those clowns couldn't handle freakin Vick lobs let alone Vick's bullets. There's a reason Crumpler was the only productive receiver on the team. He was the only guy that could catch the freakin ball on the team. Not defending Vick's actions or anything, but as for his production.... yeah those receivers didn't help him at all.

Heck-I was shocked he DIDN'T see Crumpler, even for that split second, in that game we played with them. Otherwise, it's a TD, and we're home for the playoffs instead.

that lefty spin messed em up.

Really though, I would say it has to do more with the receivers just getting more experienced.
