My friend has a red Mustang, and we've gotten pulled over twice when I was with her. One time, it was total BS the cop made up some lame excuse that she was not driving in her lane (we were all sober), and wanted to see ALL of our driver's license (there were 4 girls in the car) because my friends were latina, he wanted to make sure we were all here legally and had not stolen the car. He ended up being gracious enough to not give us a warning or ticket and let us go on our merry way.

Yep... it's not the model, it's the color... red cars have a much higher ticket rate than any other color...

I disagree. I've gotten 1 ticket in the 7 years I've been driving ...

I drove my RED Honda Civic crazy fast all the time and I never got a ticket.

I had my BLACK Audi A4 for 1 month and I got a ticket for going 17mph over. I've driven way fast than that in my Civic and nothing. I think it was because I'm a guy in my early 20's driving an Audi.

So I believe its the make of the car and not the color ...

So I'll go with Corvette.

I had a Suzuki Samurai in High School. I once got it up to 70 mph coming down a hill and accidentally ran by a speed trap off of I-4 near Kissimmee (there are usually anywhere from five to seven State Troopers gathered to just pull over speeders). The troopers standing outside of their cars were literally laughing, probably because the darn thing was shaking so much.

I didn't get a ticket and I suppose that was out of pity.

The police are probably just discriminating against you because you speak Cajun. :laugh2:

As well they should... cajuns are a menace to society...

It's a proven scientific fact...

Anything jalopy.
Older, faded, ugly, sunken suspension and overall neglected, because the driver knows he's driving a POS and doesn't wash it.
