First of all it's embarrassing that our two WRs need to try and quiet the crowd down when we're inside the 5. I realize this happens elsewhere, but come on people, be smart. Do they put up signs on the 'trons that say things like "quiet - offense at work" or anything? They should.

Second of all, I don't remember, but was it loud when Phillips false started?

Well, one of the false starts was when the Panthers were yelling the cadence (illegally), but Dallas got called instead.

:banghead:

I agree with you to an extent, but give the fans a break. This isn't golf, where they have workers that hold "Quiet Please" signs. The fans haven't had much to cheer about in the new stadium. I understand the enthusiasm.

Our fans are just getting us practice for road games. They are smarter than you think.

The only game I've ever been able to go to personally, I was screaming at folks to make some noise when the Skinz had the ball, and I told them all to shut the h3ll up when we had the ball. They seemed to have it backwards. And no, they weren't skinz fanz.

I literally yelled that the penalty was due to our idiot fans.

Of course, many of the people next to me in the stands were the idiots cheering, so I got a few dirty looks. I just returned with that knowing look that says, "Yeah, you're the idiot I speak of, A hole."

Maybe it's just the new stadium is loud. :laugh2:

Maybe we should open the roof when we get in the redzone! :lmao2:

They do that at Lambeau. People bring signs, and they'll also put it on the videoboards. "Offense on the field, keep it quiet!", that sort of thing.

Wouldn't be hard at all to splash that up on the big videoboard at Cowboys Stadium. It'd be quite impressive actually.

It is amazing; I have sat there with the crowd hollering doing the wave while the offense is trying to go their job. Come on folks pretty easy concept, holler when the defense is on the field and shut the pie hole when the offense has the ball.

Then what'd you say? "My EYE!!" "My EYE!!!" ;)

I was saying this in the game day thread, just STHU until the play is in it's process on offense.

Scream as much as you want on defense.

:laugh2:

Dallas fans are pretty stupid when it comes to noise making.

How about putting the big screen to use during the pregame with a little "Fan Tutorial"?

I'll volunteer to film something so the idiots know when and when not to cheer.

Maybe it's me, but it doesn't bother me that the fans are screaming and hollering no matter who has the ball.

The fact that they're expressing enthusiasm at all should be a good thing.

In Texas Stadium, the scoreboards in the corners would tell the fans when to scream and when not to. I'm sure the new stadium does as well. Or at least will when they get all the kinks worked out.

How is it a good thing that the crowd is making it difficult for the offense to effectively call audibles, line calls and hear the snap count?

I didn't say it was a good thing. Just that it doesn't bother me.

Most major sports play in arenas where crowd noise is an issue. Home or away, players have to adjust.

If noise is that bad, then Wade should start practicing a silent count.
