I sure don't mean to make light of a tragic situation, .. but this was my first thought.
A while ago on TV I saw a very funny, .. but 'dark humor' comedian. I worried that I was laughing so hard.
He started out by talking about recently having children, and how that had changed his outlook.
He noticed a sad story about a child choking on a marshmallow. (ok, here's the dark part)
He's like, "you know what, if your kid can't survive a marshmallow, maybe society just doesn't need him around to begin with."
"This is just nature's way of weeding out the weak."
"I mean, what's he gonna do when he encounters, .. a pretzel!?"
"If he can't survive a marshmallow, he will never make it through public school."
He went on and on, and it was dark, .. but he was very funny.
So that is what came to mind when I read about these guys falling at stadiums.
"You know what, if he can't survive a pedistrian walkway, maybe society just doesn't need him around to begin with."
"This is just nature's way of weeding out the weak."
"I mean, what's he gonna do when he encounters, .. a revolving door!?"
"If he can't survive a pedistrian walkway, he will never make it on an escalator."
If you don't think this is funny, go get a bag of marshmallows.
