Fan is short for fanatic. Fans usually think more with their emotions than rationality. When it comes with the Cowboys, this emotional tidal wave has been building like a tsunami. Being a Dallas fan since '77, I look at the New England Patriots and see what the Cowboys use to be like. Making the playoffs every season for 20 straight seasons. Now, we see a franchise that not only hasn't see a Superbowl/NFC Title game since 1995, but a franchise that even struggles to get to 8-8. The (2) decades + of mediocre performance is hard to swallow for long-time Dallas fans.

With the recent chants of "Fire Garrett" rings louder, doesn't mean the INEPT TRAIN will end. Since '95, the Cowboys have won a grand total of (2) playoff wins. Hell, the Patriots win that many playoff game each season. Change the head coach but the culture doesn't change so why would another new train conductor mean more wins?

I have said for a decade: Until Jerry Jones meets Al Davis, the Cowboys will never see another Superbowl so what do until then?
Buffalo Bills lost 4 straight Superbowls have have been horrible since then, meanwhile the Cleveland Browns have been a train wretch every since they returned to Cleveland. While the franchises have been an embarrassment, their fans stick with their team(s).

Just enjoy the game--it's an escape from the daily grind of life. Win or lose, we still have to go to work, pay our bills, take kids to their necessary appointments, etc.... Be a FAN and not a fan-atic
