So Tnew is a blabber mouth now because he's had 3 consecutive interviews. One with him speaking his mind and having some statements misconstrued by journalists with agendas in a slow news cycle. And the other two trying to set things straight about his comments. How many times during the season does this guy even do interviews or is he open to reporters for him to be accused of running his mouth too much?

I also love how a guy like Miles Austin, who's been in the league playing ST for 3 years, could have one injury-which he healed from remarkably fast-and another on the same knee and become injury prone.

I love how Crayton became stone hands because of a couple of drops when he had a broken finger or one major drop in a crucial game.

I love how Miles Austin was the stone hands before him last offseason because of 2 drops in rainy conditions under a playoff atmosphere.

I love how Austin isn't stone hands anymore and is now the second coming of...........

I love how our team is worth nothing and needs a clean install because of a game that ran out of our hands mainly due to inopportuned errors, rather than ability.

Some of the most overreacting, underthinking fanatics aren't we?

Next time we have a comment, why don't we think of the big picture or think back a few moments; instead of piggy backing the emotions of the last scenes that occur in our minds:(

For you to have only 14 posts, you seem to have the Zone all figured out. There are a bunch of overreacting, unrational lemmings here that buy into any and everything they hear or read! All drama, all the time!

A lot of what is printed/said by the media is garbage, but it is somewhat based in truth. But the media have a way of twisting truths into lies. But they can't do that if they're not fed tasty nuggets of information from Cowboys' management, coaces and players to twist. That's where it starts.

right now, Jerry Jones has a gag-order on coaches, which many teams do at this time of the offseason. But then you have guys like Phillips putting a "spotlight" on the fact that he can't talk so it becomes a headline. And the players, well nothing is standing in their way of offering up information that will be twisted and used against them.

What this whole organization needs to do is figure out how to control the Cowboys-media again. Right now, the media is controlling the "story" about the Cowobys. The Cowboys need to take a serious effort to turn that around, because after all, without the Cowboys, there would be no Cowboys-media.

So in the end, this organization - management, coaches and players - need to control the media again, so that it reports what they NEED it to report, and not report what they don't want reported (truth or lies). They can start by not offering up nuggests that can be easily misconstrued. Or they can avoid addressing non-issies. For example, when Phillips is asked a question at hte combine about the roster, rather than saying "I'm not allowed to talk to you" he should say something like "right now that's only for me to know, and I'll let you know when I'm ready.". And recently, Terrence newman, when asked about Romo and his girlfriend, should have merely said "Romo's our QB and we believe in him; anything concerning him and his girlfriend is between them". Why is it so hard for these guys to say this instead of offering up the comments they actually do make that gives the media fodder to spin into BS?

Can you blame a snake for being a snake? If you are stupid enough to trust a snake and put your hand near its mouth then dont act surprised or cry when it bites you.

These players and now fans can cry all they want about the media spinning stories to create stories. We all know they do this. It's their jobs. It's all about money and stories sell. We cant blame the media for being the media. Lets not really think their only job is to report the boring news. They are capitalist that need to generate money. They do this by creating headlines that convince people to visit their website, or pick up their newspaper in the morning with the coffee.

The responsibility falls in the lap of the players.

As fans we are pretty irrelevant. Do you think Romo reads and cares about our opinions on cowboyszone? However, when its printed in the national news and is on ESPN then players care. They dont want people, family and friends all chiming in with their opinions to them about what another player on their team said about them or their girlfriend, or their playcalling, ect.
It does have the potential to cause a distraction and bad feelings. No good comes from it.

Fans will over react. We always have. We always will. We love reading about our favorite team. We have passion. We love to argue and insult each other in public forums. We have opinions and they really are like buttholes. (except mine of course).

And to the original poster. You will over react to the over reactions.

But to look at the big picture and if your concern is our football team. Then it's the players that have to stop trusting a snake. After all can you blame a snake for being a snake?

Ok.

Romo doesn't care about football! All he cares about is Jessica's field of dreams...

We've taken a GIANT leap back in talent on offense, we'll miss Henry a tad, still no real nose tackle, Romo is still a goof ball fumbler, our coaching staff was put together by a moron.

The big picture is trash.
