Fans blaming Dak

Be quiet
This great QB led the offense to 7 first half points

7

7

And threw a pick that led to their TD

So be quiet and learn football 101
6 offensive possessions.

Im gonna be repeating that all week.

This is what I tell my GF when I'm mansplaining her.... with my far superior male intellect, and all.

Blaming Dak?., why would you blame Dak? just because he couldn't get anything done until they lost their starting cornerbacks. Meanwhile he still has the best receiving core in the league.

We lost by 8.

Dak threw a INT that directly led to a TD. Again, how isnt he to blame??

Exactly, that was a 14-21 point swing and was the difference. If he at least gets that ball out of bounds, we probably see a 7-7 halftime score. That's much more manageable for a defence that's trying to get in gear than 14-7. I honestly thought the defence was better than last year. Dak's pick was what actually killed them imo.

Dak didn't do enough to win. 10 year veteran, highest paid QB in the league or close to it, and he can only get 20 on the board. Not to mention 2 of those touchdowns were helped big time with pass interference calls that did the heavy lifting for him.

But every year we have to hear the same bs from the Dak gallery.

Let's take the loss and the poor play of the defense off the board for a second. One question. When the game was still in doubt, what is your opinion of Prescott's throw when Lamb got behind the defense for a sure touchdown?
He missed the throw. Then led them to touchdown.

Haven't seen much Dak bashing, but I'm not looking for it either. He did alright, but the long trend of slow offensive starts is growing tiresome. The interception was a momentum killer, but we can't pretend that Pickens' drops didn't contribute to the sloppy start either. The defense wasn't good, but the offense is supposed to be the strength of this team, and they did not play well for most of the game.

Our defense is trash again but the reason we will never win is because with Dak and arguably 2 of the top 7 receivers in the league he can’t put up big numbers to keep his team in it. He needs to win a shootout once in a while.

Tell us you dont know football without telling us

We know a Dak sniffer when we see one

He doesn't have to be the biggest problem in each game. But he continually plays a part in why we lose winnable games.

But as I said in the game thread, he will have no part in the blame according to his legion.

Who's burner account is this one?

Dak wasnt great, I can definitely tell his arm is losing strength, I believe he has 2 years max left for a super bowl run.

Idk about arm strength, but I do think we need to get a QB in the building after this season. Dak's deal, I think, is up after next season. So, we can draft a QB and let the replacement develop. I think the defence will be better, and I did see enough tonight to where I actually feel better than last year about the defence. It was still bad, but I don't think it was as bad as last year, and Skatabo is a load (not to mention how big Ricard was in front of him). Luckily, we only likely have to face him one more time this season. But Dak has to know better and can't make that kind of throw

Looked like a miscommunication to me.

It looked like Dak thought CD wou break outside CD broke inside. Who is at fault? Don't know but that's how I saw it.

Lol.... what would you say our chances of winning were when we score on 3 of our last 4 possessions?

You would say high right???

He figured it out as game wore on. Defense got worse as it went along. They played their best in the first 3 drives. This game is on the defense.

The middle 8 minutes of a game
Critical
Team that scores in that zone wins the game big % of time.

Dak gave them the 1st 4 minutes freebie

I'm sorry, but, 9/10 times, i defend Dak when possible. However, I also have to be objective. Fact of the matter, I have to blame Dak for this loss.

Yes, I am aware that the defence, especially in the second half, was getting gashed. Yes, the offense looked better in the second half. However, the defence did make two stops in the first half, including a massive takeaway. Now, to be fair, the play before, Pickens drops a ball that should have been a TD. However, the next play, that pick by Dak was 1. Inexcusable and 2. Completely sapped any momentum away we might have had. Not only that, but the offense as a whole was terrible in the first half, outside the one TD.

I also have to blame Schotty for not going for it on 4th and inches. At the very least, sneak the ball. Dak's a big player. He can probably fall forward and get the first down. However, outside of that, I thought Dak's interception was a key reason why we lost. We know the defence is going to take time to get in gear. Skatabo is, unfortunately, really really big and a load to tackle. At the very least, the offense needed to be able to cover the defence to help them. That didn't happen, so, that's why, imo, the blame for tonight's loss is, at least, in large part on Dak's shoulder imo. I expect a much better performance against Washington on Sunday, and the defence should be better equipped against Washington.

I should add. I actually came away from this game feeling a little better about our defence compared to last year. Yes it was ugly. But, 1. Skatabo is a load and Ricard in front of him is kind of a cheat code for an already physical back. The two stops we made were actually pretty good, and the takeaway was brilliant. As long as we didn't turn it over ourselves, we probably at least start getting momentum going our way. That was a chance to plant a seed of doubt into the Giants mind. Unfortunately, Dak did the one thing you can't do there.
