She doesn't look greek but that is a greek name.

Learn the uncited source and she will be golden at DMN sportsday.

When your last name begins with "Hair", that leads to all sorts of bad puns and jokes.

Here's a tip to our new beat writer:

You can be just like the rest of these worthless hacks and struggle through your career hoping for other freelance side jobs, hopping from employer-to-employer and getting the occasional flash in the pan spotlight or you can write your own type of work with your own unique take and practice quality journalism, follow thru on stories and in the end make a name for yourself with a devote following.

One is real easy. The other is not.

Choice is yours.

If that was her name growing up, and not a married name, I imagine she was picked on a great deal in school.

Unfortunately, very true.

But, it worked for Albert Breer. He dumped those losers at the DMN and moved on to the NFLN. And the NFLN isn't exactly the beacon of great reporting, but he became a trusted source of information and I always look forward to his insight, even if I disagree with him.

She's been here for a long time. Used to be a high schools writer.

She's been a college football writer (mainly Big 12) for awhile now with the DMN

I don't think she's Greek. Because she's a woman, and over the age of 25, and doesn't appear to have even the beginnings of a decent moustache.

I would like that but gma was greek. For the record, she did not have facial hair.

I've always been cool with female reporters, but the broadcaster thing is really weird to me. That baseball game last night....and she just wouldn't shut up. She would belabor a point for long stretches over and over. The college play-by-play woman, too. It's distracting to listen to. Maybe I need to mature a bit.

No, you are on to something. I have no problem with females in the booth, a lot of times they are much better researched than their male counterparts. I do find that some try too hard to "prove" themselves unnecessarily and it comes off slightly annoying.
