Greg Hardy is apparently interested in making a return to football, but it won’t be with the Salt Lake Screaming Eagles.

The Indoor Football League team, which is in its first season of play, is unique among American sports franchises: all decisions, from the team name to the head coach to the roster, are decided by fan vote.

And this week, fans opted not to add former NFL Pro Bowl defensive end Greg Hardy.

On Wednesday, the team posted a vote on its website, saying Hardy was interested in joining the team, but whether he was added to the roster would be left up to the fans’ vote.

To be fair, some of it wasnt him. He was basically found guilty by the NFL and public of something there was no supportive evidence of and the courts found him innocent.

To be fair, some of it wasnt him. He was basically found guilty by the NFL and public of something there was no supportive evidence of and the courts found him innocent.

Most, if not all of it was on him.
Gets signed to the Cowboys and then makes controversial statements about Bradys wife, shoves a coach and rumors of him being late/headcase in his second chance stint. Especially after his play nose dived after the pictures were leaked.

Had he acted like a choir boy here, good chance he either re-signed or is still in the league. He acted a fool when all eyes were on him.

Reportedly it was coke, and an active disrespect for coaches. What doesn't make sense is why they just didn't cut him when they should have. That speaks to Jerry meddling over a pet cat to me.

I didnt say that didnt have something to do with it...but we know the over-arching issue was the court case and league suspension.

Of course he didnt straighten up any extra to cover for it which didnt help.

Sometimes they get right, though.

I don't mind picking up talented players with problems. When they show you who they are, though, you need to cut them outright and make a statement. A guy who's reportedly calling your HC names in meetings and partying with your start DE prospect who already has a substance abuse problem, what the hell is he doing on the team at all? A 4-12 team, mind you.
