Unless you have a son/daughter/child to entertain, there is no reason any adult fan frustrated with this crap should continue to spend any money on this franchise until things change. No other business would continue to get your money while providing you a poor product/service and refusing to make any changes to address those issues. So why do the Cowboys?

It's time to show some self-restraint, because It's obvious to everyone that Jerry and his family have felt little to no pressure to change because, win or lose, the bottomline $$$ has remained consistent the last decade. The last time Jerry felt uncomfortable was when the vote on the new stadium was looming, so he was forced to swallow his pride and hire Bill Parcells. If fans actually stood up to this guy, he and his family would be forced to make a similar move.

Every time you watch a game or talk about the Cowboys on the internet (especially when you start threads about him) you are supporting Jerry Jones. If you really believed in what you say ........ you would stop coming here and advertising for Jerry Jones.

But you wont because you just want to ***** and get attention.

Each NFL team received $255m in 2017 from TV contracts. I'm sure Jerry has multiple other endorsement and marketing deals relating to the team that bring in untold millions per year, which are long term in nature. Prime money season ticket holders are rich and probably barely watch the game, they aren't giving them up.

Some passionate fans on a message board not buying a dang hat or a jersey or what have you isn't even the tiniest drop in this ocean of money.

And no, I will not stop watching every game and going to the stadium every now and again.

You guys act like this is some kind of war that needs to be won. It was over decades ago, and Jerry won. It's entertainment, pure and simple, and we have as much influence over the product on the field as we do watching one of those comic book movies in a theater.

The Stadium could be half full and Jerry would be in the black. Jerry is a businessman first and foremost. Jerry doesn't eat and sleep "Cowboys." Jerry eats and sleeps "Business." When are the rest of you going to wake up that ???

The stadium is the death blow. He probably hosts 150 events a year which seriously outweighs 10 football games.

Answer: Never.

While there are some people who symbolically object to how Jones operates the team by not buying stuff to empower their own self-esteem, there are others who sincerely believe their unwillingness to purchase any Cowboys' merchandise, tickets, etc., negatively impacts Jones at some financial level--even at some infinitesimal degree--AND that all individuals who do not participate likewise are 'traitors' to 'the cause'.

Some of the commitment and/or animosity towards others can be attributed to simply not understanding just how much money Jones rakes in that completely offsets any financial loss Jones would incur. Others do understand and could not care less--even though they do care in principle. My earlier answer is actually wrong in the latter's case, for these are not individuals who are oblivious but who have their eyes open wide shut.
