Fansided Mock Draft April 6th your opinion because some of these know idea

Round 1, pick 15: Jaycee Horn, CB- South Carolina (via above trade)
Round 2, pick 44, Jabril Cox, LB- LSU
Round 2, pick 46, Richie Grant, S- UCF
Round 3, pick 75, Marvin Wilson, DT- Florida State
Round 4, pick 115, Tay Gowan, CB- UCF
Round 4, pick 138, Tommy Tremble, TE- Notre Dame
Round 5, pick 174, Aaron Banks, G- Notre Dame
Round 5, pick 192, Sam Ehlinger, QB- Texas
Round 6, pick 227, Patrick Jones II, Edge Rusher- Pittsburgh
Round 7, pick 238, Brenden Jaimes, Tackle- Nebraska

Very good draft, just wish for a Left Tackle a little earlier for insurance over Tyron Smith's health

Just not a fan of Marvin Wilson, at all. He has talent but his motor is questionable and I watched him get utterly dominated by the ND offensive line this year. He was largely a non-factor in that game.

Horn would be a great fit for our scheme
Cox would be great in coverage he probably needs some work against the run.
I don't think the teams are as high on Grant as the fans are.
Wilson is a day three pick
Tay Gowan?
Tremble is a great value there.
Banks is an outstanding value there.
They've met with Jaimes and he would be a reliable G/T backup.

We have to treat Horn like Surtain, prior to Farley's surgery. He is going to be a top 12 pick and is unlikely to fall past there. If the Cowboys like him, they are going to have to take him at 10.

For someone with knowledge what do you think about this because I've seen him being mocked in several like 5th round to Dallas:

Round 5, pick 192, Sam Ehlinger, QB- Texas

Horn would be a great fit for our scheme

Are you (and @Cowboyny) both that high on Horn? From the footage and reports he's quick, aggressive and certainly a ballhawk, but does he actually compliment Diggs. I would worry having both CB's being better suited to a gambling ball hawk and I wouldnt necessarily want that against a WR1 in the NFL. I see Surtain as the lockdown type CB (with FS support) and make a QB take a gamble on Diggs vrs a lesser WR2.

I'm higher on Surtain. Horn is the number 2 corner in the draft and would be a great press-man corner that would fit our scheme. His play reminds me a little of Richard Sherman

Never said I was a fan of Horn, just saying I think his slotting is in the top 12 range.

44 too high for Cox, he's a cover LB with run stopping question marks. Brugler lists at 78
75, A lot of people do not like Marvin Wilson, I like him in a bargain spot but Brugler doesn't even have him in his Top 100.
115 Tay Gowan has 31 1/8 arms, not exactly the project Quinn is looking for on the outside. Robert Rochell, Ambry Thomas, Benjamin St. Juste, DJ Daniel are better fits.
Unlikely Aaron Banks is around 174, Brugler has him #99 in his Top 100. But would be a good pick.
I doubt Ehlinger is worth the pick should be better talent around in the 5th.

This is a pretty good draft - I don't love Gowan or any other DB there, but I mind it a lot less with those two OL late. Wilson is some of a reach at that spot, but I don't mind that for a guy who - like his college tape or not - has a bunch of upside.

Tremble is one of my favorite picks there because of the versatility he gives you, and I think probably a bit underrated as an athlete...kind of like James Hanna in some ways.

I think Ehlinger sucks but whatever I don't mind taking a QB there lol

I think that was helped a bit by Farley not being there now.

Nonetheless, I wouldn't bet against him. If he has the heart of his old man I'm in.

I worried about his grabbiness on the next level, could be a flag machine.
