This was my first fanspeak mock of 2016 using CBS Sports' draft board and it turned out pretty interesting. I normally keep emotion out of it as much as possible and take the best player there (but grabbed Goff over Jalen Ramsey):

4: R1P4
QB JARED GOFF
CALIFORNIA

34: R2P3
DT ROBERT NKEMDICHE
OLE MISS

67: R3P4
DT AUSTIN JOHNSON
PENN STATE

98: R4P3
RB JORDAN HOWARD
INDIANA

Truth be told, this intrigues me after watching Carolina blow teams up this year in the interior.

I'd really rather have a CB in there, but understand why you took who you did. Good value.

Worked for the Panthers...
2013 draft
1st round - 14th overall - Star Lotulelei, Utah
2nd round - 44th overall, Kawann Short, Purdue

Love this idea!! Need much more push AND mass in the middle of DL which will free up Lawrence and Gregory even more.

I don't know if I'd take Nkemdiche at #34. I would almost definitely trade down if a trade were available. But if you put aside his issues, I'd be very happy with this draft, though I don't know that much about Jordan Howard. We, however, definitely need to get a running back in this draft. Pretty please?

Truth be told I'd swap Nkemdiche for the best DB or LB on the board.

Still not bad at all.

Switch Nmendiche for Rankin and look to pick-up a second DT on third day. Only one DT has a chance of starting. Addressing secondary or WR earlier would more logical.

Been studying Howard lately reminds me a lot of Murray. Like him or Dixon from Louisiana Tech at rb for us

I could live with that. I am not ready to throw in the towel on Crawford at the 3 Tech. I think if you had a stud 1 Tech next to him he could be a real problem for teams. So Goff, maybe a DB or WR in Rd 2, then Johnson and Howard? Not bad.

And FWIW, I have a bunch of friends from college and we mock occassionally where we each draft for say 4-5 teams. I had all the NFC East teams and Miami.

In one we did a week ago, I ended up with Goff at 4, Jaylon Smith in the 2nd round, A. Johnson in Rd 3 and Prosise in Rd 4.

I doubt that Nkemdiche is there at 34.

Bear in mind that I just went with the simulation, but also remember that Gregory was a sure-fire number 1 about this time last year. One or two players will fall.
