Who else was on the board at 17?

I'm all about a WR in round 1, but I don't like Higgins much there.

Like 2nd round and 3rd round pick. I like Burgess as well but I am not sure two safeties in this draft would be wise.

Not a fan of Higgins. Granted, he's a taller guy, someone we don't have on the roster currently, but I think there will opportunities to go bigger at WR later in the draft. I'd rather use our first round pick on a defender and then come back with a WR like Claypool later.

I'd only go WR in the first if one of the studs slipped. Higgins isn't in that class IMO.

Drafting Burgess offers an upgrade at FS and allows for moving Woods to CB to replace Brown.

Oi, that's a rough shake. Guess I don't blame you for Higgins, even though I don't like him over some of the other WRs. I'd go Reagor, even if that is a bit of a reach.

I think this is poor value at 17, regardless of who you pick there.

I mean I think we should come out of the draft with a TE and/or WR but I'd take that draft alone based on the first three picks. Kinlaw, McKinney and Fotu? Hell yeah.

Eh, weirder things have happened. I don't think it's likely McKinney is there when we pick in the second, but I could see only 1 safety go in the first. After that, it's entirely possible for someone like Dugger or Davis to go next, depending on testing and all that.

McKinney is going to be solid, but I don't think he's going to be a real playmaker in the NFL. Would you draft, say, Jordan Poyer in the first?

Safeties typically don't get high and most show safeties falling. Last year for example how many thought Thornhill, Rapp and Adderley would be there at 60? Almost none thought that

If this head coach has any input I think we might be going offense in the first round. I think if WR CeeDee Lamb drops we'll be taking him. Not crazy about the rest in the first round.
