FF takes all the fun out of the sport and is annoying.

I can't stand it when I'm watching a Cowboys game with a buddy and they want McCoy or somebody to score so they can get there stupid points! They don't want them to win against us, but they want there points so they can win the stupid pool.

I've picked teams for buddies and they've won big. But I refuse to play it. Football is a beautiful game even if I'm watching rams, or Duke.

I'm a fan of football plain and simple. Doesn't matter who is playing. Some of the greatest games I ever witnessed were teams I could care less about.

The UT/USC title game, the Jets/Dolphins Monday night thriller, And actually the Tebow win in OT last year in the playoffs against Pitts. Man it's a beautiful game.

JMO but you need an internal switch to watch football any more. One for watching and enjoying the sport and one for watching with FF in mind. Being able to flip that switch has made a big difference for me over the years. For the longest time I was FF all the time and I realized it can take something away from the game.

I love fantasy football but I never let my team be prioritized over the cowboys. I'm to the point where I don't draft NFC east players because I don't want to root for them all year.

Only played FF a few times for fun and that part of it never bothered me. I am competitive and of course I want to win if I play but I figure if the Cowboys are losing to the Eagles, it's not because McCoy happens to be my starting RB for that week.

Not to mention, I suck at FF anyway. :laugh2:

I played last year and won my league. I'm not going to play this year though....if I want 'Fantasy Football' I'll just play Madden.

I love Football, even games with random teams.

But Fantasy Football is awesome. My knowledge of NFL players and week to week team knowledge has increased tremendously. Before Fantasy Football I probably couldn't have named every single Starting QB. Now I can name all the Back ups, and even Kickers.

It WAS funny. Didn't hit me as you trying to be derogatory towards FF or FF Players, in the least. A little humor during the dead time is a good thing; shouldn't be taken offense to, IMO.
