what a day it was. had been fearing the worst and the first 15 minutes when they dominated i thought we could be on the wrong end of a thumping but we weathered that opening and then i thought we were terrrific. kayal was outstanding in the middle, mulgrew actually looked like a football player which was a pleasant surprise and delighted for big sammy. as was said in the commentary he gets more than his share of stick from the fans but was brilliant yesterday.
