If you're ever visiting the Seattle area and get some free time, drive up to Everett and check out the Boeing plant. The freeway runs right in front of it. Absolutely massive building. In fact, I do believe it's the largest building in the world by volume.

Boeing is moving a lot of production out of Seattle.

When flying was still a big deal to the general public and people actually got dressed up!

Couple summers ago I flew out of Renton on a 6-seat boat plane. Was really cool. You could see all the unpainted planes waiting to be delivered.
