This could be ugly and is the match-up with the most talent disparity. Unless Farniok is a lot better than he showed against Tampa, this could be a Chaz Green situation where one bad match-up blows up the whole offense........ as if the offense needed any more challenges this week.

Farniok was better vs power than vs speed.

He appears to be stronger than Connor Williams from last season and stronger than OC Biadasz.

I really wanted to Tyler to play LG this season because his power would really help OC Biadasz.

Tyler muscled Vita Vea to the ground. Very few OLinemen have that ability.

while I agree that it’s a bad match up, I kinda think the offense has already gone from suck to blow!

Yep, I am still hopeful he goes to LG
And Peters to LT.

The Collins match up with whoever he goes against will be brutal. Collins will get destroyed.

Farniok actually did better than expected considering he was not allowed to practice or play with the 1st string Offense all summer. Both Farniok and Tyler had a similar amount of plays where they got beat, but overall, they both actually did well.

They just need a little more time together. I believe they could become a tandem power duo occupying our left side of the Oline. If they do, Cowboys will be doing great for years to come due to their youth, strength, aggressiveness and willingness to get better.

From watching this video, the line held up better than it appeared watching it live. There were some blown assignments, but for the most part, the plays that were shown gave an impression that pass protection really wasn't a big problem. So....what's the deal? QB1 rushed some throws, slid in the pocket creating unneeded pressure, and threw some really bad passes, even when there was a clean pocket. Pretty troubling imo.

This video doesn't show the whole offense's performance. It's only several plays. Go to NFL.com and pay to watch the coaches version. You will get a much better idea what went wrong.

Steele was the biggest liability. The OL wasn’t bad enough to warrant only 3 points. The problem was we had the worst QB in the NFL.

Ya, I wasn't trying to imply this was a reflection of the entire game. Just seemed odd to me that even when he did have time, he was pressing. I don't expect perfection, but I saw lots of missed opportunities in those clips.

Agreed. Dak was way off. Even got ruffled after several sacks and hits. Had that deer in the headlights look. What he needs to do is get after the Oline the way Brady does to his, but Dak is too brotherly friendly with his Oline. Sometimes, the Oline needs a good verbal ribbing to p*ss them off and get them fired up. Regardless, I knew Dak and the Offense would come out playing rusty as heck. That's what happens when you coddle and protect them, instead of making them play a game or two during preseason. Plus, this Oline and WR crew is a mess. That's on the coaches and front office.

Yes . . . I agree on Tyler Smith. He's a hos.
