Beebe and Frazier were the best two OL in the Big 12 each of the 2 prior seasons so it is zero surprise they were good yesterday.

Dude is like 330, and I notice how much space him and the OGs take up. Run game should be improved, and it good to see Beebe is already dominating at pass blocking.

Off to a great start. Beebe and Guyton both have the skills and the mindset/attitude to have great careers

Gotta tip the cap to the FO for putting in the work to move on from Tyron and Biadasz and replace them with rookie studs and the team not only not miss a beat— but even improve — particularly with Beebe creating a strong pocket for Dak to climb into

Yes, it's only one game, but it looks like the Cowboys have rebuilt another offensive line unit for the long haul. Beebe, Guyton, Smith, and Steele; plus probably T.J. Bass if this turns out to be Zack Martin's last season.

This was one of the few plays I saw where Beebe maybe could have done a better job. He was a little late on his block which is why JOK got to Zeke. Rookie struggle with the speed of the game in the NFL and Beebe is still learning. I bet next year he gets out there and makes this block.

There were a few other times I saw him lose his block too quickly but again, this is the kind of thing Beebe will get better at with experience.

I thought Guyton struggled a lot more than Beebe with the speed and strength of NFL players.

I'm eating his crow.......didn't see him beating Hoffman w/o any college experience but certainly glad to be wrong. lol
I felt like Dallas wanted him to because Hoffman was more of Biadasz at best while Beebe could be so much more than that because of his power.

I saw early in the game Dak got sacked by pressure up the middle. Was that Martins guy.
Yeah. Martin initially had Tomlinson blocked, but Prescott had to double-pump and Tomlinson got around Martin and charged Dak like a bull. Prescott couldn't escape the pocket because both ends kind of pinned him in. The tackles blocked them fine, but there just wasn't any room to maneuver to get out of the way of Tomlinson. I think that's a 50/50 blame situation. Prescott didn't need to double-pump there, especially since he knew he couldn't escape the pocket and Martin lost his block quicker than he needed to. It should have been airmailed out of bounds toward a receiver to avoid intentional grounding.

My 1 concern going back to the preseason with Beebe is that he just doesnt look comfortable blocking at the 2nd level. I haven't done a deep dive into his game yesterday, but this is an example where he just simply takes a bad route. Now #6 is a speedy backer who is already shaded to that side of the field so it's not a super easy block, but Beebe has to understand where the ball is going, how much speed is on an NFL field and know that he needs to flatten out that angle before getting upfield. Hopefully it comes with reps, but he needs to get a feel of where the defender will be, not where they are at because you simply cant be 340lbs and catch these 225lbs backers at this level by chasing.
100% there with you. In terms of actual blocking duties, center is the easiest of the o-line positions; you typically never have a 1:1 assignment w/a guy lined up in front of you and generally are left helping a guard out. Where I see good centers separate themselves is on the second level blocking in the run game. This was an area I thought Biadasz struggled at too. People confused his effort (which was good) with actual proficiency. I can’t tell you how many times on a screen he couldn’t locate a defender or would whiff. I’m interested in seeing more from Beebe in that regard as the season unwinds.
