Wanted to toss this out there now since we should have the cap money to do anything we want this offseason. That said, the FA market is going to be pretty lame overall.
I think we need to cut Carr for sucking and re-sign Mo since our CB ranks are already thin.
I think Hardy is a must-have and possibly Ro McClain. I think Dunbar is a must. Not sure about Mincey and Crawford but I imagine we could get them back if we want.
Then we get to other team's FAs. I think we need immediate FA help at DB (S and CB), WR, and then luxury items would be DL and LB. Of those here is a list of scheduled FAs that grabbed my interest, subject to their current teams' offers and tags:

WR: top names that strike me Ruben Randle, Alshon Jeffrey, Travis Benjamin. They are all still youngish and would be tough opposite Dez and a serious upgrade over TW.
CB: Sean Smith, Leon Hall (but he's 31 yrs old), Prince Amukamara (no thanks), Jerraud Powers, Janoris Jenkins. Really crummy market for CBs, Morris Claiborne ranks out pretty highly on this list actually.
S: Eric Weddle, Eric Berry, Tashaun Gipson, Louis Delmas. Not a bad market here, Berry or Weddle would be a coup and give us continued flexibility with Jones and using Wilcox/Church in the strong safety and bench them on obvious passing downs.
LB: Von Miller, Sean Witherspoon, Bruce Irvin. Market pretty thin here too.
DL: Wilkerson (I want this guy next to TCraw, DWill, and Hardy). Pierre-Paul, Sammie Lee Hill, and Nick Fairly.

Besides resigning our own Dunbar, Hardy, Mo Claiborne, and Rolando McClain, I would plan to go hard after:
1) Wilkerson
2) Weddle and/or Berry
3) Von Miller or one of the WRs.

What do you think?

CB Janoris Jenkins and RB Lamar Miller would be the two I covet most. I do like Wilkerson as well. Make those 3 the targets. Maybe we could sign 2 of them.

I didn't know Benjamin was a FA. He has deep speed that this team really lacks. Wonder what his price tag would be on the open market? Can't imagine the Browns would just let him go.

Some more WR options. I would bet Cicny can't sign all 3.

WRBrandon TateCIN
WRMarvin JonesCIN
WRMohamed SanuCIN

Don't like Tate but Jones and Sanu are worth a look. IMO

Don't look for any of the top tier free agents to be signed.
Most if not all of them will be resigned and Jerry will be looking for 2nd tier free agents

I'd love Eric Berry but he'll get signed or tagged. I focus on Tashaun Gipson. Likely available out of Cleveland. Gets his hands on a lot of passes before this year. 6 INTs and 8 PDs in 2014; 5 INTs and 11 PDs in 2013. Returned an INT for a TD in each of those years. Just 25. Went to HS in Dallas too.

I think we need a replacement at MLB. Ro is a flake. Maybe they move Lee back inside. Maybe it's Hitchens. I don't know. Danny Trevathan in Denver and Craig Robertson in Cleveland are the only free agent MLBs I see that interest me. We just need someone more dependable there.

DT...I've given up. I don't know what we're doing here. Ahtyba Rubin is a DT I like, but whatever. In Rod we trust, or something.

Dwayne Allen is an under-the-radar signing to replace rehabbing Escobar. Very good blocker. Was a good receiver in college. Don't know why Luck doesn't go his way more. Just anything to avoid wasting another high pick on another TE.

Vet WR. Maybe wait for cuts on the WR. Don't see much in free agency. Maybe Mike Wallace or Vincent Jackson.

Good call on Gipson. I forgot about him. He's got good production but doesn't get any attention because he plays for Cleveland.

Lamar Miller, then I won't have a problem with them drafting a Jaylon Smith

Free agency begins and ends with Eric Berry.

Okay, okay. It begins with Eric Berry and ends with Trumaine Johnson, Brandon Boykin, and re-signing Greg Hardy.

I'm not interested in any big name FAs. They hardly ever work out and most times you end up with a contract you cannot get rid of. Now this team needs a bunch of mid tier level FAs they can bring in. Eric Berry is a pipe dream and he is going to cost a ton of money. Gipson is a very good player and Cleveland has a ton of cap room, no way he makes it out of there.

I do wonder about Lamar Miller. He is gone from Miami after this year and is pissed about no getting enough carries. He wouldn't have to worry about that here in Dallas as Linehan as showed a tendency to stick with the run game even when its not working. (Never thought I would say that about Linehan after his years in Detroit). The guy has breakaway speed but the sticking point will be his contract. If Murray showed us anything, it is that it is not worth paying a RB big money unless your Adrian Peterson or Todd Gurley. If Miller can be signed to 4 mil a year, it needs to happen. Travis Benjamin from Cleveland is another player I would target. He brings deep speed and should not cost as much as the other receivers. Despite his smaller stature he would be a good number 2 as he doesn't drop contested catches (cough Williams). Adding Miller and Benjamin would be a coup for Dallas and would add deep speed to an offense that severely lacks it without breaking the cap for years to come.

Oh and we must resign Greg Hardy who should not cost too much now and James Hanna who is underrated here. If Hanna leaves our running game will suffer.
