More of the same on offense. We get 6 TOs and barely win because we have no concept of the run. I want all of you "we pass cuz were always losing" folk to go put your nose in the corner. This was embarrassing, no ways around it. Don't want the first game excuses either because WE ARE WHO WE ARE, a pass first team that has no clue of balance. 6 TOs and we still gave up 30 points!!!! It's sickening, no way this happens with a team that understands a running game and its not like NY STOPPED OUR RUN!!

We will run better next week when Waters is at RG. I am excited about this season. Our OL looks great (even better in my head imagining Waters replace Bern). Our defense looked great until the 4th quarter. I think they will continue to improve every game.

I like the way they used Murray tonight. They tried to run out the clock with him, but it was 3rd and 4. That's a passing play. Unfortunately the route and the throw were both short of the marker. That could've come back to haunt us, but those days are gone. Maybe the Cowboys are learning how to win these games. I'll take the win.

Oh yeah, Seattle's potent offense only produced 12 points! It's week one. Most teams are out of sync. Our line held its own and I really can't believe people on here whine when we win. So when we lose y'all will be the first ones on here with the " I told you so" rant. Give our teams props for fighting all 60 minutes. We never trailed in this game, just FYI.

How so? We controlled the clock the first half, yet only had a 3 point lead. Pass after pass kept the Giants in the game. Plus 5 TOs, 49 pass to 23 runs, how does this happen? Explain how a team controls the clock, TO margin and yet had a chance to lose the lead I the 4th? Ill wait!!

We should have won by 4 TDs with 6 TOs and yet out defense wore down and gave up 30 points cuz the offense kept passing instead of running clock to give them rest. I'm alright with the win but the philosophy is backwards and disturbing to say the least!!

You think Brian Waters will correct the play calling? Maybe the overall blocking, but no way he improves the play calling and audibles Romo calls!

Nope. We just know the game well enough to understand next week may be totally different. I see some problems but now's not the time to make a big deal of them. We did win.

Williams cutting his route short led to a loss of points, possibly a touchdown, and gave the Giants 3 points (could have been 7 thanks to the effort by Murray and the defense) so that was a 10 point swing there. There was a lot of sloppiness on both sides of the ball, but I will take a win against a divisional opponent and worry about fixing the issues for next weeks game.

It's bad enough we had to listen to negativity over and over again all off season, can we at least enjoy this win for a day or two before the sky-is-falling discussions dominate the site again?
