Marshall just laid it out there intelligently and said he expects the Cowboys to win this game going away. He said we have more to play for and also mentioned that Sammy Morris still has something left in the tank. He questioned how much of the offense Sammy knows but was clear in getting behind a Cowboys win today. Hmmmm. I don't recall the last time he picked the Boys to win anything.

Biggest Boys haters on TV: Marshall, Tom Jackson, Meshawn

Aw hell, we're screwed.

Maybe I should have done the negativity.

Lol! I felt the same feeling.
Either way, I could care less about who picks who. I don't value any of their opinions whether they're right or wrong. It's all about whooping the Philadelphia Eagles today.

True. Hearing Faulk utter those words was strange though. The look on his face was one that said "it kinda hurts to say this".

No matter what, he still gets paid.

Up to hearing that I was sure of this:

Tony Romo sets NFL record with 7 TD passes

Demarcus Ware sacks Michael Vick 6 times

Cowboys win 70-0.

Now we are indeed screwed

We only have a lot to play for if the Jets win their game. Otherwise, this game means nothing for either team.

They owned us earlier in the season. It would not be good to go to NY having lost 3 of the last 4. These seem like good reasons for us to play like hell today.

I think Tom Jackson just hates anyone that isn't a front runner.

While I do agree with this, how much is it worth trying to avenge a butt whooping 2 months ago to risk injury to key players for a game next week that decides the East? While I would love to pound the Eagles into submission for the hell of it, I'd rather players like Felix, Smith, Ware and others get as healthy as possible.

How stupid would it feel to rest starters and then have Atlanta lose the last two?

This is absolutely right, good post. Get them out if the game doesn't matter, but if it does play like hell and sit them next week.

Irvin just said Sammy Morris is going for 150+ on the ground today.

I thought he quit smoking crack.

Your points are also well taken. Hopefully the Jets will win and thus remove any ambiguity about the importance of our game today.

I don't understand how the Cowboys have more to play for. Either it's a meaningless game in the division race for the Cowboys or they face an Eagles team fighting for their playoff lives.

I'm guessing he means we have more to play for if the Jets win in the sense with our win, we can clinch the East and a playoff birth to where even if the Eagles win, they are guaranteed nothing.

But both teams will either have a lot on the line or nothing at all.
