1. The Outlaw Jose Wales. One of the best Westerns ever made, full of good lines. Eastwood at his best.
2. Absolute Power. Eastwood plays an aging jewel thief who witnesses a murder by the Secret Service. Excellent film, made from David Baldacci's book.
3. In the Line of Fire. Eastwood is great, but John Malcovich is awesome as a deranged would-be assassin.
4. Sudden Impact. My favorite of the Dirty Harry films.
5. Bloodwork. Great story.
6. Dirty Harry. The first one. World, meet Inspector Harry Callahan, an American hero.
7. The Dead Pool. Watching Harry clean the streets of San Francisco never gets old.
8. Unforgiven. Highly-acclaimed Western, but I liked Outlaw Jose Wales much better.
9. Pale Rider.
10. Hang 'em High. Sentimental favorite because parts of it, including the hanging seen at the beginning was filmed less than a mile where I now live, along the Rio Grande.
11. Every Which Way But Loose. Goofy comedy helped along by "Clyde."
12. Joe Kidd.
