Favorite 5 cartoon Movies

  • Ratatouille - My youngest LOVES this movie. Great on Blu Ray.
  • Wall-E - Kids loved it and so did I. Good message in there if people want to hear it.
  • The Iron Giant - This is actually one of mine even though my kids did not seem interested
  • Coraline - Is this considered "animated"? Great, great movie.
  • The Nightmare Before Christmas - Not sure if this one qualifies either, but my six year old thinks that this movie is the greatest thing since sliced bread.

I like the iron giant to use to watch.it.every day

Am I the only one who doesn't consider the CG movies to be "cartoons?" I might not even consider other more mature fare such as Heavy Metal either.

But since it seems that it's about animation, my top 5 would be:

The Incredibles
How to Train Your Dragon
South Park: Bigger Longer & Uncut
The Iron Giant
The Prince of Egypt

Least favorites:

Finding Nemo
Tarzan
Land Before Time sequels
Ice Age films
Shrek sequels

CG has replaced cartoons, even mickey mouse club is cg now along with a few other Saturday morning 'cartoons'.

on another note i cant believe I'm the only one who likes the emperors new groove!

Cars
Toy Story
Jungle book
The Grinch Who Stole Christmas
The Jetsons meet the Flintstones (Loved both of them when I was a kid)

Up
Wall-E
Beauty and the Beast
Kung ** Panda
The Lion King

Claymation -The Nightmare before Christmas

Close runner ups:
Charlotte's Web
Ratatouille
The Land Before Time

I was torn on the Iron Giant. It was probalby #6 on the list. And Nightmare before Christmas totally slipped my mind, otherwise would probably have forced it's way onto my list.

Didn't like Project A-ko and Fist of the North Star. Ninja Scroll was pretty cool, and Vampire Hunter D was good for its time. Return of the Overfiend, well you have to like that particular genre. I am more of Studio Ghibli fan... ;)

Go Catbus!

Some cartoons that i like that i don't think they have a movie too:

Captain Planet
Thundercats
X-men- haven't seen any cartoon version as movies
fantastic 4
