Favorite Candy Bar?

I don't eat Burger King because of the hamburger family, the creepy, voyeuristic King, and their other mindless commercials that make me sick.

Advertising is very effective to me. Snickers lost me that day. I do not know when, if ever, I will like them again. Same with Burger King. They could suddenly have well thought out commercials and I cannot say in all certainty that I would ever eat their food again. I may not.

Repulsion is a strong emotion.

Understood. Advertising has little effect on me. At least I believe it doesn't. I love beer commercials and think they are usually the best out there, but I still don't drink any beer.

Right now baby Ruth but I couldn't go the rest of my life without a snickers.

Here's the thing, well done commercials do not sell me on products. Take Old Spice for instance. Those commercials are extremely well done and entertaining. I even use their deodorant, but not because of the commercials. I think the Budweiser lizards were hilarious. I think the Dennis Hopper Nike commercials were too. All well done. None sold me.

But repulsion is different. Advertising cannot drive me to a product, but it can drive me away.

Do Peanut M&M'S count 'cus that's prob my favorite candy if I had to choose one?

York Peppermint Patties or Hershey's Kisses would be a close 2nd & 3rd.

Have you tried the new pretzel M&M's? They :yourock:

So now I really get the soccer hate. You must of seen a terrible soccer advertisement at one time.

Hostiles response: "Yes, it is called watching a soccer match" :laugh1:

No, I haven't tried M&M'S version but there's a place I buy espresso beans from occasionally.

They make chocolate covered pretzels and chocolate covered Italian-roast espresso beans that are the confectionery equivilent to crack.

The place that originally made those was just down the road from my place. I rememeber going there and watching them get made. Free samples afterwards!

Remember the little dog in the Taco Bell commercials? He was hilarious. They quit doing those commercials because sales actually went down during the period they were using them.

I haven't had one of those since the Super Bowl commercial with the 2 mechanics kissing.

I am guessing " Brokeback Mountain" is not part of your cowboy film collection.

:laugh2:

I'm a big fan of Whoppers and M&M's. Dig cold chocolate too!
