My mom is a Honda fan.

Myself, I've had a Honda, a Chevy, a Ford, and a Dodge, and my wife has a Honda.

Without question, I'm now a Dodge guy.

The bang for your buck is nice, but I like more bang, period. A friend of mine leased a G sedan and refused to test drive the 335. After having his car for about 6 months, he drove mine. He's convinced he's getting the 335 next. :D

G is a little roomier. The 335 definitely stepped it up with the twin turbo, though. Makes tuning for more power as easy as a CPU flash.

When I bought my G all they had was the 330. If I had the cash, I'd be all over the M3 or RS4.

I'll never buy another Dodge personally. While my car has not self distructed, the fit and quality of the inside trim is horrendous. In less than a year my Durango SLT developed a murderous-killing-spree inducing rattle in the back that's still there to this day.

Hell, the ash tray is prone to popping open over bumping roads when it damn well feels like it, and there are plenty of bumpy roads in New York City.

The only thing it has going for it is that it's never left me stranded, and for that I'm grateful.

Some one mentioned Buick a few posts back. A new Lacrosse might be the only thing that One day could lure me back in to a G.M. showroom.

The quality of the interior in my Dodge is very good, and certainly much better than the competitors in the same class.

I love the styling of the new TL, but I bought the Infiniti for the RWD, and because at the time I wanted something different from the Honda I was driving.

If I was to look into another car now, though, it would be between the Infiniti M and the Acura TL.

What's the benefit of RWD?
When I was looking I did want AWD but the Acura didn't offer it at that time. I looked at the Lexus IS for that reason, but I would be getting much less for my money when compared to the TL so I passed.

The new look of the TL brings out a lot of opinions from people. Some people flat out hate it and others just love it. I think it's fine and would buy one if I were in the market, though the design is not a progression from the '08 TL. It's so different from what it was.

1. Weight distribution is better on RWD cars most of the time.

2. FWD cars are susceptible to torque steer.

3. RWD cars tend to turn around the driver instead of in front of the driver.

4. RWD cars, when accelerating, throw weight to where the drive wheels are. In a FWD car, the weight starts out over the front wheels and as the car accelerates, the weight transitions to the back wheels and away from the drive wheels.

FWD cars have advantages too though. :D And as far as RWD vs AWD, I'm not real sure.

AWD with power distribution technology is the ****. Test drive a Subaru or an Audi. You'll like what you feel. AWD without it is somewhat lazy feeling, albeit far better in inclement weather.

Audi has mastered this in the last few years, and it shows in every test and in every review.

Traction control on a RWD has taken away some of the advantages of FWD. If you live in an area that gets a lot of rain or snow it's hard to beat an AWD.

Interesting. Thanks for the info.
I'm not sure why, but my impression was that RWD is more susceptible to fish tailing and being worse in the snow and wet conditions. We do get snow up here, which is why I was looking into an AWD for my commute, but I figured I was better off with FWD.
