What is your favorite?
I Was watching Cowboys History courtesy of Dboys  and saw the replay of the Hail May.

Wish I was around to see it live. Top 5 plays in Cowboys History IMO.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hail_Mary_pass

The term "Hail Mary pass" is believed to have been coined by Dallas Cowboys quarterback Roger Staubach, referring to his desperation (and Catholic beliefs), for his game-winning touchdown pass in a December 28, 1975 NFC semifinal playoff game. With only 36 seconds remaining, Staubach threw a desperation pass to receiver Drew Pearson, who was being covered by cornerback Nate Wright. Pearson pushed off Wright, then pinned the slightly underthrown ball against his right hip and ran into the end zone for the winning touchdown. In discussing the play during a post-game interview, Staubach told reporters that he closed his eyes, threw the ball as hard as he could, and said a Hail Mary prayer. Although the term may date farther back, no reference has been cited as yet which pre-dates Staubach's comments.

Name some others that are dear to your heart.

72 game against SF. Roger had missed a lot of the season with a shoulder injury. Dallas was down by 3 scores when Roger entered the game in place of Morton. Roger’s comeback that day was unbelievable and after that game I always felt we had a chance in any game no matter how far down as long as Roger was the QB

I can't, or won't put down "one" moment.

I can recall "many" moments, in the cool, crisp Fall in New England. Playing football with my friends late morning, early afternoon. Coming home to my parents house as my dad slow cooked an eye round roast on a spit, while the Cowboys game was on in the family room TV.

Being that we were basically in a NYC suburb and my dad is a NY native (Upsate in the mountains, but it didn't matter) he was is a NY Giants fan.

Even so, when the Cowboys were on (Which was hardly ever when the Giants were on...pre cable/DirectTV days...lol) no matter what I was allowed to have control of the TV, we only had one then.

Those are the home memories, which are pretty close to always being the same...Watching the Cowboys games brought tons of football memories, but as good as they were...It was the atmostphere where I 1st started watching them that probably made me as much of a fan.

If you held me to one, probablt Thankgiving 1974 in Glens Falls, NY. Longly to Pearson...

Watching the team celebrate winning Superbowl XII and carrying Tom Landry off the field. I was almost 7 at the time.

I got a similar feeling when Charles Haley sacked Jim Kelly forcing a fumble recovered by Jimmie Jones for a TDin Superbowl XXVII. Even though I thought going in that Dallas was the better team and should win that game, it was at that moment I knew they would win. It brought back those feelings from childhood of my favorite team being the best.

Standing up screeming "Go Alvin! Go Alvin!" while stunned Phoney Whiners fans sat in disbelief all around me at the '92 Championship game.

72 Super Bowl win in New Orleans. We completely dominated the Miami Dolphins, basically the same team that would go undefeated and many claim to be the best team ever 24-3. Cowboys offense rushed for a then record 252 yards, Roger was 12-19 with 119 passing yards, 2 TDs, 0 INTs. Thomas and Garrison had great games and the Dallas OL dominated the No Name Defense. Our Dooms Day controlled the game start to finish. Giving up a total of 185 yards to the Miami Offense and no TDs, (a feat never before accomplished) and holding Miami to a only 3 points (Still the lowest point total ever allowed in Super Bowl History). Many years of almost winning but never getting it done. The win was the hardest one because it was the first one for an expansion team and finally, to win that game was like a huge weight being lifted. That was the best moment for me.
