This is the one that annoys me the most. I'm surprised you're the first to mention it. I mean, he's the best player in our storied history, and a lot of people can't even spell his well-known first name correctly. Kills me.

This thread reminds me of not a misspelling but a mispronunciation. I can't even count the amount of times I've heard people butcher Morris Claiborne's name, which is unbelievable since it is so simple. They say "Maurice" and/or "Clayburn," anyone else catch this before? It drives me nuts because I always anticipate them messing it up and they always do!

Two people I can name that always do this is Jon Gruden and Herm Edwards, but a ton of other random media people do it as well.

At least most of those are close, the announcers continuously calling Copper "Terrance Cooper" a few years ago used to make me smile.

This isn't a misspelling per se, but it was always irritating when people thought that Marion Barber was related to Tiki Barber (No.......Tiki's brother is Ronde Barber.)
