Favorite Cowboys game last year and why?

Great thread!

-- The Philly game, because we went into their house after McFlabb said the division still went through them and absolutely beat the dog piss out of them in every way.

-- The Chicago game, because no one was sure what we had at that point, and we again just dominated them. I remember posting a thread that I didn't expect to win that game, and instead we shredded them.

-- The second Giants game, because I love going into NY and beating them in their house in those red jerseys that they seemingly break out just for us. Plus a hot girl asked me out during it. :D

-- The Buffalo game for sheer excitement at the end. I'm usually optimistic during games, but when Newman picked that ball and then Romo threw ANOTHER INT, I thought it just wasn't out night. Nick Folk begins his march toward the Ring of Honor. :D

For me it was the Vikings game. Another one of those, because we were there.

Other than that, it would have to be Green Bay. So much hype before, as this was going to decide who were the best team in the NFC (and it did).:laugh2:

I still wonder that if we had lost that game, whether we would have faired better in the Play-offs. Because after that game we seemed to coast through the rest of the season.

First was Chicago, because it established Dallas as an elite team.

Tie for second would be the road games in NYFG and Philly...

Reading all the responses and pondering this question for myself got me thinking how fortunate we've been the last two years.

We've had a lot of excitement and a lot of big wins. But mostly I've had a lot of fun since Romo took over.

Remember his first start in Carolina? How bout the Indy game to give them thier first loss, or the NYG game to take command of first place.

Of course this year's highpoints are well documented in this thread.

I know the post season has let us down, but we've sure had our moments.

Good points. Tony Romo has been the common denominator as the good times have rolled. The good thing is he's a really hard worker. I know he will come back determined and ready next year.

Hands down the Bears game.

We didnt know exactly how good the team was at that point, and so far it is the only Cowboys game I've been to.

One of the best experiences of my entire life. And I will be traveling from Iowa to Texas Stadium next year for another game.

Kicking the crap out of the Iggles in Philly. I HATE, HATE, HATE the Iggles and I'm sick and tired of them dominating us. They have owned us for the last 10 years and we need to turn that crap around. They're always up for us and we never seem up for them. For once we came out and kicked the crap out of them at their house.

Even if we have a sorry season but sweep the Iggles, I take away some level of satisfaction

Buffalo...my brothers a bills fan and he was talking trash all game long...to see the look on his face when they lost was priceless...and the fact that our kicker made two 53 yarders...second would be the detroit game...for excitement those two games were insane...best game would be the first eagles game...team played very well on both sides...IMO

Absolutely Buffalo - the charge I felt when Folk's 2nd kick went through was just freaking unbelievable. I thought we were screwed and a miracle happened. I haven't seen us on the good side of that in a while. I couldn't sleep until 4:00 am. What a rush.

Either the Buffalo game or the first Philly game. I really enjoyed both of them a whole lot for different reasons.

Two games really stick out for me. The ending of the Bills game put me on a two day high! What an incredible ending. Maybe it just me but I swear after Folk made back-to-back FGs, we did not see teams doing the BS timeout anymore.

The Packer game was awesome. I went to a sports bar that was filled with Packer fans. Lots of good natured trash talking, good beer and food made for a really great evening.

I thought about it and I cant think of one particular game that I like more than another.

One thing though... all I know is that I got used to winning last year... and then it happened.

I would like to get back to the former.

I'm assuming you stayed after and waited for the players to walk into the huddle? That's what made the thing for me a blast.

Did you see Romo do a little Lambeau Leap type thing into our fans? Then when TO was coming off the field after his interview I started doing the TO motion with my arms and he saw me and pointed and smiled then started doing it.

Man just talking about it makes me smile. I cant wait to go to their next game. I'm thinking it may have to be the Seattle game. Who else do we play at home this upcoming year?

Why do I have a hard time seeing the Pack agree with this statement.:laugh1:
