Favorite Hangover Cure

I very rarely drink ... hate the taste of alcohol in any form.

But what's funny, and probably not fair, is I never get a hangover. On the rare occasions I drink something, I wake up feeling great the next day.

I knew Chief stood for something else.

Well how much do you drink when you do drink?

A few beers and drinks won't do much. I should probably stop mixing beer and vodka. That usually does me in.

Menudo, some people say drinking Pedialyte works. Eating something while plastered also helps like a big greasy cheese burger...

Ya I typically gotta hit the gym hard on Sundays..

Drink more, of course the hangover will be back twice as bad the next day if you do, but it works

As someone mentioned earlier Water before going to sleep is the best. You drink and it dehydrates you.

Only problem is, after drinking a bunch the last thing you want to do is guzzle down a bunch of water.

While stationed in Korea, our building was right across from the troop med clinic. And since we worked there on ambulance duty at times, we had friends there.

So sometimes after a long night of drinking we would go over and tell the other medics to practice giving IVs to us. Felt great the next day.

Then there was one time I waited till the next day to get the IVs...Took 3 bags of IV solution and just started teh 4th before I had to go to the bathroom...that was one of those all night drinking binges.

Now I am glad I don't drink, no worries about feeling bad in the morning and I don't have the option to just go over to where friends are working to get free IVs.:laugh2:

Drinking is bad for you. I would recommend against it. WHEN I drink and have a hangover, first thing I do: smoke a big, fat bag of crack, wash that down with an ounce of shrooms and run some black tar to calm my nerves. 3 days later........Tadah! (I'm pretty sure it's only 3 days)

As always you might want to consult your physician before trying this tho. Could cause shortness of breath, heart palpatations, enlarged liver, high blood pressure, dizziness, fainting, numbness, blurred vision, depression, mood swings, thoughts of suicide, hair loss, reduced ability to fight off minor viruses and anal leakage if your between the ages of 6 and 97.

Shot's don't bother me but man I hate IVs. They sting like hell. I'll take the hangover.

doesn't always work. you can usually tell halfway through the second beer though

Best one yet, stop drinking. :laugh2:

I got to the point I was tired of waking up with a hangover to the point I just stopped drinking. I think the last drink I had was about 2 years ago at Mardi Gras in Galveston

One thing I found, when you are sober around drunk people (even people who claim to hold their liquor) you find out how stupid people get. :laugh2:

I got drunk last Friday for the first time in a while. The next day was completely ruined. I couldn't take a nap, didn't feel like eating, and I swear the day lasted a week. It was terrible.

True enough. My son had an encounter with a neighbor he liked and the feeling was mutual. Well...........the neighbor drank one day, all day and my son got first hand experience with what waaayyy to much alcohol does to a normally nice guy.

We sometimes go to a sports bar during football season and we just sit there and watch. It's really entertaining for the most part. He realizes how much alcohol makes a person so different. Words could never pull that off.

True seeing is believing. :laugh2:

I'm not opposed to drinking I choose not to drink. If there is an occasions I'm attending I may have a drink but the days of getting hammered are very much over.
