Favorite Male/Female Vocalist

Male: Axl. 5 octave vocal range, and he makes excellent use of it. Very unique voice as well, although may not be for everyone

Female: Tie between Ann Wilson and Stevie. Would have loved seeing those old Heart/Stevie Nicks show. Ive heard Stevie partied the sisters under the table

Stevie could party me under the table anytime.

Male - Bono & Sting were awesome in their prime

Female - Same for Ann Wilson & Stevie Nicks

No matter how many years it is, it still only seems like 15 minutes when it's all said and done. Thanks for the recordings!

Ronan Tynan at my hangout for many years, Fenway Park. His story is a good as his voice. I saw the Irish Tenors Christmas show at the Mohegan Sun. Another great concert!

Roy Orbison
Whitney Houston, I didn't like many of her songs but "I Will Always Love You" is spellbinding.

This lady, who left us far too early because before she made it as an artist she spent all her time landscaping and got melanoma, was a songstress of the first order and there is a soulfulness in her voice that I found lacking in Karen Carpenter's. Karen's was as clear and crisp as fine crystal but it lacked a warmth to me except for she and her brother's Christmas Album.

Norah Jones - what a sultry voice. Includes a duet at a tribute to Neil Young.
