It might be too early for this thread, but I am going to post it anyway and we'll see if anyone is interested in a look back at the great moments of this season.

Here are my top five favorite moments of the past season, in order, counting backwards:

#5: Miles Austin's game winning touchdown catch in Week 9 to beat the Philadelphia Eagles

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ufgLNEhw2gU (quality is terrible on this one, but it's the only one that I could find)

#4: Felix Jones' 49-yard touchdown run against the Philadelphia Eagles in the game that clinches the NFC East title

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4vrPFkJDndQ

#3: Miles Austin's catch in OT against the Kansas City Chiefs, capping off his best game and reigniting the team and our season

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XTUDvCiIDNk

#2: D.Ware's strip of Drew Brees to seal the win against the New Orleans Saints in New Orleans and start the December winning streak.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jWeCz5I4MaM

#1: Not any one single play, but the first playoff win for the team since the 90's, beating the hated Eagles

Here's to a great 2009 campaign!

My favorite has to be Austins TD catch and run against the Chiefs in overtime. Seeing the players bounce on him in the endzone. Great stuff...that was hell of a game.

The moment of realization that this isn't going to be business as usual: the Saints game.

All 3 of the Eagles games and in particular the last one because we did get over that hump. As much as all the fans couldn't care less right now, it was a mental hump we needed to get over. Next year we can focus on winning multiple playoff games instead of just winning that one. Winning that playoff game has gone further than most people think.

Not any singular moment, although several were good.

I liked sweeping the Commanders. That late game touchdown to Crayton and winning 7-6 was hillarious. Shutting them out the second game was nice.

I loved getting revenge against the Eagles, thrashing them back to back weeks, humiliating McNabb, etc.

Being the first team to beat the undefeated Saints was priceless, in their house no less.

Seeing Romo mature from a turnover prone gunslinger to a top flight QB was amazing. As was the growth of Miles Austin. Finally a project receiver steps up.

Seeing Felix Jones stay healthy and make plays was great. 59 yarder and a 73 yarder in back to back weeks.

And I enjoyed more of Wittens usual production. Guy is a warrior, and the best TE in Cowboys history.

How dare you look for positives of any sort! lol

Nice list.

I think some forget that this is entertainment...it is supposed to be enjoyable. If it's not, then we need to get a life...or try something else that is more fun.

That game to me was a turning point for this team. I didn't stick around after the first half ended. I did record though, and then I come back and find we have a legit superstar receiver in Austin.
