CURRENT
Adrian Peterson

Current is Adrian Peterson? That just ain't natural. You gotta have a Dallas Cowboy for your current pick.

I can't honestly give you just one favorite of all-time. I loved Dorsett. Loved Randy White and Ed Too Tall, and Harvey Martin. I loved Drew Pearson and Tony Hill. I loved Michael Irvin and Ken Norton Jr. when he was a Cowboy.

Right now I love me some Tony Romo, Austin, Ware, Rat, Spencer, Jenkins, Witten, Dez Bryant, Felix, Barber, and Newman.

If I had to narrow it down though, there would be two: Tony Romo and Miles Austin.

The Playmaker and it isn't close.

Current - Probably Romo, but Witten and Ware are very close.

Why?

Ed Reed is my favorite current playing defensive player. I will flip from Cowboy games to Ravens games JUST to check to see if he makes a play, I love watching him P.O. offenses. Second favorite? Patrick Willis, why? hes a freakin beast to watch and I enjoy the fire he brings.

Just cause we are Cowboys fans doesn't mean we have to suckle on the teet for our life, yes cowboys occupy majority of my "dream" team but doesn't mean they have to be our favorites...

All Time: Walter Payton (hands down, clear cut. SWEETNESS rules the podium) Best all purpose RB EVER. Soul of the TEAM type of guy.

2nd: Roger Staubach \ John Unitas \ Barry Sanders \ Bob Lilly \ Dick Butkus \ Mike Singletary \ Deacon Jones \ Chuck Bednarick \ Steve Atwater \ Gayle Sayers

All Time Cowboys: Roger Staubach (probably the biggest reason I'm a Cowboys fan (NEVER say Die. Fight till the last second type of leader))

Current: ... don't know anyone right now with that kind of talent character combo. DeMarcus Ware / P. Manning probably

future: Sean Lee?

all-time:
1. Emmitt Smith - my hero and role model as a teenager
2. Roy Williams (SS) - loved him in college and his first 5 years or so here
3. Tony Dorsett - my very first favorite player
4. Michael Irvin - loved his fire and soul on those 90's teams
5. Danny White - used to always act like i was him when i was out in my little Riddell Dallas Cowboys uniform.. (does anyone remember those?)

favorite currently:
1. Demarcus Ware
2. Tony Romo
3. Terence Newman
4. Jason Witten
5. Felix Jones

favorite non-Cowboy ever:
Adrian Peterson and a bunch of other Sooners..

favorite non-Cowboy, non-Sooner ever:
Walter Payton (such a class act)
3.

to many to pick from

QB - Aikman - Elway - Johhny U
RB - E Smith - B Sanders
TE - Kellen Winslow
OL - L Allen - D Dierdorf - A Munoz

S - Cliff Harris - Ronnie Lot

but my favorite is Cliff Harris because he was UDFA

an deserves to be in the HOF

yep. I missed on Anthony Munoz, John Hannah, Earl Campbell, Tony Gonzalez, Red Grange and Tony Hill... The NFL has such a rich history of so many great men who played the game it's hard not to leave someone out on first glance.

Personally speaking, my favorite NFL player is Vernon Davis. I feel that he's improved tremendously over the years and it's awesome to see that transformation!!

All-Time is a tough call but I will have to say Emmitt.

Currently, I would have to go with Witten.

Favorite non Cowboy would have to be John Elway.

My list goes like this:

1. Romo

2. Ware

Ever since college.

6 fumbles isn't nothing when he gives you 1300+ and 18 touchdowns. I'll take that trade off any day. Best running back I've ever seen.

Best? You know that's debateable.

Fumbles in a playoff game. Who cares about the season yardage. I'm probably in the minority here but I would've pulled him against the Aint's.

Current: DeMarcus Ware
All-Time: Emmitt Smith

I wish that I was able to see the Cowboys of old play in the 60s and 70s to see all those greats, but I didn't start watching them until 1990 when I was 5 years old.
