97X WOXY (mostly 80's) Alternative Stream - The original shut it's doors over a year ago but the new station has a "new" vintage stream that clearly traces it's roots back to the best internet radio I've listened to.

Radio Nigel - 80's Alternative Music - Steve left Dayglo Radio on Friday the 13th to start his own station. Not as good as the original 97X but he spins a pretty good play list.

This Week in Technology - TWiT is a once a week internet radio show that's all about, you guessed it, all things geeky and tech.
http://thisweekintech.com/

Coast to Coast AM with George Noory - Links, stories and pictures of the paranormal and other off beat things. They offer a subscription to listen to past programs on the web or you can hear them live across the country late night/early morning.

Video Help - If you're the least bit interested on how to do things with video capturing/editing you have to check this place out because it's the best.

Song Meanings - Wanna know what an equally uniformed person thinks a song means? Check here to find out. There are thousands of songs where people have shared their thoughts, some of them pretty good.

Google - Don't make an *** of yourself on a public forum, Google your question before you ask. Chances are someone has already asked that question.
www.google.com

Operation Sports - Give a shout out to Steve OS on this web site dedicated to sports gaming. The message boards have lots of useful info, like roster updates for Madden, NCAA Football and ESPN Football.

Game Spot - The best place for gaming info on the 'net IMO. All they do is games and hardware so you don't have to wade through DVD reviews and other crap like you do at IGN. They are a must read for me before I buy a game.

ZDNet - This is a good place to read tech news, reviews, get downloads and check prices on most things tech related.

I do alot of online shopping, so these are some of the sites I hit when I'm pricing stuff. There are also some furniture sites that I like to hit, too, but they don't put any prices on the sites.

www.walmart.com

www.overstock.com

www.target.com

www.amazon.com

www.half.com

on an old job, I used to have to search every online news site for company-related articles. So I hit all the cnn's, reuters, wall street journal, etc.. Boring, but it paid $$$

www.mtv.com

games.yahoo.com (I like online dominoes and spades)

I'm a pretty focused web surfer. Usually I'm looking for pretty specific info when I'm online other than when I'm on here or other 'boys sites..

www.theonion.com - flat out hilarious

www.bobandtom.com - a great morning radio show, the website has some great stuff on it as well.

www.imdb.com - The ultimate movie resource. When you watch a movie and say "Hey, what else was that actor/actress in?", IMDB can give you an answer.

Margaritaville.com, specifically their link to Radio Margaritaville...

Other than that, most all of my bookmarks are sports-related-- NFL draft, Baltimore Orioles, Washington Wizards, Texas Longhorns, Virginia Cavaliers and UTEP Miners...

Besides that, I have folders in my bookmarks for computer stuff (online sites that sell computer components, one of these days I'd like to build my own computer with all the best stuff), and a more generic folder for home entertainment equipment (like Crutchfield and Circuit City)... a folder for sites dedicated to golf equipment (Edwin Watts, Total Golf Warehouse, and such)... another folder for guitar equipment... yet another folder for autmotive equipment (I've always been a musclecar aficionado, built a coupla 67 Camaros in my time)... finally, a computer for antique furniture, a hobby of mine...

I have between 100 and 150 bookmarks, organized into 14 different folders... but of course, I have the most bookmarks in my Cowboys folder, and my NFL Draft folder... 35 of my bookmarks are in those 2...

One of the funniest guys in the entire world, go to the video section of his website where they did news stories on him and his radio show... The Phil Hendrie Show

I have about 20GB of his stuff here on the ship and people are always begging me to burn his stuff for them... the guy is a genius.

The thing that amazes me about Phil Hendrie is that I didn't realize he did all the voices on his show. I thought he hired actors for some of that stuff. I've only heard a few shows but everyone of his fake guests sounded like a different person. Dude has talent.

That is an understatement... the actual David G. Hall (the producer of the show) makes a good point when he says that the 30% who don't get the show actually make the show what it is... those characters are hilarious. My favorite?? Lloyd Bonafie and Raj Faneen... those two will have me rolling the whole show.

I love Hendrie...it actually took me a few shows before I figured out that it was all tongue in cheek.

It is true that Hendrie is a black dude ?

I don't remember the characters name....but my favorite is the guy who is a volunteer policeman who goes around stealing gas out of peoples cars.

O/S is a good forum for the most part. Cowboys fan be careful though. You have to have a thick skin there as that place has more Cowboy hate going on then any Eagles board. Look out for P2K and BKRich. BK is an admin if you can believe that. His actions would label him as a troll here but over there he is free to roam and flame anyone at will.
