At least you know. My cousin watches that 'moonshiners' show and the sheriffs are always looking for who is making the moonshine. I'm like, why don't they just watch the show to find out who makes it or follow the big Discovery Show vans, LOL.

Now my wife watches all those 'Real Housewives' shows and gets really angry when I tell her that its not real (not to mention really stupid).
You know why she gets mad at you telling her it's not real? Because she already knows it's not real and don't want you messing up her enjoyment. lol

South Beach Tow is another one of my fav shows. Do I really need folks to tell me that Bernice didn't really take down that little bitty Kung ** fighter dude w/a wrench to the back of the head? No. It's just fun, mindless entertainment. I don't watch it better my intelligence. There are other shows for that.

.

How anyone get enjoyment from watching a bunch of uncouth, plastic surgically enhanced, unintelligent, gold diggers endlessly squabbling at each other I will never understand.

Then it's not for you to understand. Everybody has their thing that they enjoy and most times want to be left alone to actually enjoy it. Example: Football on Sundays.

Three shows on Bravo I'm hooked on are, Million Dollar Listings LA and NY. Also "Flipping Out". That Jeffery Lewis guy cracks me up and those guys on the 2 MDL shows are so d-baggy, it's funny.

I'll watch the Top Chef series, but it kinda turns into a "bus man's holiday" syndrome for me sometimes, and I'll lose interest.

It's funny because I know most of the reality shows are fake or scripted but there are some you can watch for the entertainment value without the shows being so over the top fake.

The Lizard Lick and south beach towing is just way over the top fake so much so that it just irritated me when I watched a couple of episodes of each.

Some of the storage wars are fake or fixed but some are ok to watch on occasion as they only go over the top fake here and there.

I liked watching Axe men and of the Axe Men segments I liked the Shelby ones. Now they gave him his own show and I have to say they were fake enough on the Axe man segments with him but it was ok, now it is just way over the top fake and to the point where it is almost insulting. Still can laugh at it but I am thinking, come at least attempt to make it not so fake.

The standard Big Brother and Survivor shows I still watch, I don't know why because they irritate me more often than not and I do grow tired of the same format of getting this type of person in and that type of person in where they always follow a formula of the good guys, bad guys and so on...it has become cookie cutter.

Now the shows I like are Face off and Ink Master and so on. I just like seeing the artwork and so on but they still insist on trying to get the drama going...more so on Ink master compared to Face off but neither are as bad and over the top scripted as some other shows.

Some years ago I loved watching the Iron Chef shows. The american version just was not as interesting to me.

Also Gordon Ramsey used to be interesting to me but I think he went to overkill by having too many shows on and the screaming and calling people names was funny but now is just so redundant that it is boring and loses the comedy and or shock factor.

A new one me and the wife enjoy is "The Great Food Truck Race". Has the Amazing Race element to it but traveling with food trucks and some good looking food :)

My only complaint is the number of trucks, 8 is not enough.
