Favorite? I couldn't name just one. The list would be huge. We can just start with Dio Rainbow in the Dark or even Dio Last in Line.

Far to many for me to pick just one but this one is way way up on my list.

My top ten (or something like it):

1) Whiskey in the Jar - Tin Lizzy
2) Satisfaction - Rolling Stones
3) Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds - Beatles
4) Werewolve of London - Warren Zevon
5) Heroes - David Bowie
6) Strawberry fields - Beatles
7) The Air that I Breathe- Hollies
8) Sweet Child O'Mine - Guns n Roses
9) I wish I were your Mother - Ian Hunter
10) some song by the Who or Led Zeppelin or Johnny B. Good by Chuck Berry.

Just off the top of my head. So many good songs out there. Hard to choose.

We buried my Grandmother, who I was closer to than my Mom. When I hear this song I always think of her.

The Crossroads was a great one.

I was a techno kid bad in the day, so one of my favorites.

I was to pick another, Hostile already has it up. Used to have everything by Pink Floyd going back to Umma Gumma on cassette. Strange how much they sounded like The Beatles back when Sid was still the lead singer.

This is before Crossroads.

It's better.

one of the Best R&R Blue ever put out

Ten Years After - A Space in Time

The first three are my favorite singer songwriter, John Martyn, including my favorite song of his, Solid Air. All three Martyn pieces include my favorite bass player, Danny Thompson, who is also Richard Thompson's bassist on many albums.

Getting Better - Beatles

Great choice, although I figured you for the Captain & Tenille version of Muskrat Love (something you could sign to your lady mod).

For me it's a toss up between Copeland's Fanfare for the Common Man, Brubeck's Take Five, and Mix-A-Lot's Baby's Got Back.

Speaking of old Metallica, I loved Blitzkrieg. (I prefer Metallica's version to Blitzkrieg's)

My original tape I had back in the 80s had it and Am I Evil, but the stupid CD I bought a few years ago doesn't.

I had a friend who's dad had an original album (vinyl) from 1983 that didn't have it.

Man, that is a huge question. So many good songs that have been put out and I could probably list 100 without thinking twice. Some of my favs off the top of my head:

  • Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen
  • Chop Suey - System of a Down
  • Stay - Sugarland
  • Born to Run - Bruce Springsteen
  • Let it Be - The Beatles
  • No One - Alicia Keys
  • One - Metallica
  • Don't Know Why - Norah Jones
  • Waffle - Sevendust
  • Snuff - Slipknot

Any of the old stuff that Hank or Metallica put out
