He's not really my choice, but I saw an episode of this yesterday on Cypriot TV ... english vocals with Greek subtitles.

That I actually watched the episode gives an idea of the limited television options on basic cable.

Town sheriff who doesn't need a gun. He knows which buttons to push to make everyone in town fall in line and behave (and also to feel good). He is a single dad whom his son adores. Takes his son fishing every Saturday. He gets first crack at every nice-looking woman who comes into town. Can play the guitar and sing. Goes to church every Sunday. Has no fear.

His only flaw: He settled on Helen Crump.

The nurse was Peggy.

The gal that played Ellie was in Pretty Woman. She had aged very gracefully and was still quite pretty. Probably the only part of the movie I truly enjoyed was seeing her.
