My favorite Thanksgiving Day memory was of Clint Longley coming off the bench and beating the Skins I was at my sister's house and we were getting beat and when Rodger Staubach went out everybody started laughing at me so that's the end of your Cowboys of course growing up in Upstate New York and being a Cowboys fan is not an ideal situation

Dallas 24 Deadskins 23 1974 I loved every minute of it that might have been one of my favorite family outings LOL!

I guess we could add are least favorite to I have a feeling that everybody's might be or a big percentage of everybody's might be lay on let's play against Miami poor Leon, and then the Super Bowl play he made I was so mad I was absolutely poed with the exception I didn't have my numbers for one Super Bowl pool and had he scored I would have been out $475 so I forgave him for that quickly LOL

That was a great one. Probably my fave too.

Here are some great Thanksgiving Day games many have forgotten because we lost-
1. 1979 game vs. Houston Oilers - great game even tough we lost in Roger’s last Turkey Day game 30-24. Earl Campbell ran for nearly 200 and Roger still had a good day in a dual of HOFers.
2. 1993- the Miami game where we had it won after blocking the game winning FG until Leon Lett touched the blocked kick and Miami recovered. Fins won 16-14. HOWEVER- it was the last game the team lost that year (and last Jimmy lost as HC of DC) en route to winning Super Bowl 28

That was the Cowboys' only Turkey Day loss from 1974 to 1985!

My first game in person was the 89 game against the eagles. The bounty bowl. Obviously the game wasn’t great but being at Texas stadium for the first time when I was 9 years old was an experience I’ll never forget. I’ve only been to 2 other regular season games and 1 preseason game but that one is special.

My favorite Thanksgiving day game memory was as small child, sitting on the couch with my dad watching Staubach. My dad passed away a few years ago and I miss watching the game with him. Especially this game.

I enjoyed Nate Newton and Emmitt eating turkey legs during the 90s. Garrett balling out was great. The Leon Lett was a crazy one.

This game will be special.

I’ll never forget Thanksgiving 93’. Great memory with me and my buddy driving from College Station back to Ft. Worth in sleet/ice, we were supposed to be home before the game even started but it took so long we got to his house just to see Leon Lett mess up, bittersweet memory for sure.....

For me it was Garrett's big day in 1994. I was in high school and I remember the Cowboys being down 17-6. I had to leave the TV for a while, and when I came back the Cowboys were up 25-24 and I went crazy.

Of course, they went on to win 42-31. Just a great game from an awesome era.

Without a doubt Jason Garrett’s comeback win against the Packers on Thanksgiving day. If there was a cowboy zone then people would have called for him to start.

Anyone who hasn’t seen that game should go back and watch it right now.

My fondest Turkey day memories, were just watching the games with my dad. We were very blessed with my step mother's cooking, the woman was a magician with food. The whole day was nothing but eating and watching football. Would give my right arm for one more...

It has to be the Garrett/Harper game after the Longley game.

But now I resent that game because I believe it made Jerry Jones fall in love with Garrett. Had he lost that game, I doubt he would be our head coach.

It really was not that great of a performance. He got by on the jump passes to Harper that even he admitted and Madden commented on, his own wife had to call his attention to it. But hey, he is Ivy League smart and whatever.

I believe Hollywood was cut before that game after his antics against the skins that previous Sunday I believe. We didnt have our whole left side that year Too Tall, Hollywood and Waters.
