Just curious. Are you referring to the original series, the re-mastered series, or both? Both series were good. Personally, I thought the re-mastered series was the better of the two.
I remember seeing the original movie with Lorne Greene as Commander Adama at the drive-in theatre in the Summer of 1979. I've been hooked with this story every since then. The first TV series I enjoyed very much but I agree with you, the visual effects and storyline of Ronald Moore's revision of BSG was extremely more satisfying.

Hi, I'm Bob.

Hi, I'm Fire. Walk with me.

Twin Peaks, the return, in 5 minutes.

And in the series ending episode, at the end, Laura told Dale, "I will see you again in 25 years".

That was in 1991.

WOW.

Boggle.

This reboot should be....

AWESOME...... BABY!!!!!!!!

Currently is easily The Leftovers...last night's episode was one of my favorite hours of television in a long time.

Like mentioned above, you need to push through some slow parts of season 1, but these last two seasons have been fantastic.

Didn't realize the new season of Fargo was out until I read your post. Just watched the first 4 episodes. I tell ya, Fargo is a rare and amazing show. Each season is different enough that you can't really compare it to the other seasons but excellent enough that they all stand alone as great television. The same can't be said about shows like True Detective where the second season wasn't even in the same universe as the first. Really shows how good Fargo is when the 2nd and 3rd seasons are right up there with the 1st, which stands alone as one of the greatest TV experiences of all time.
You got me really excited about Fargo. I was bored last night. I rarely watch TV but I rummaged through Hulu and thought I would give TV Fargo a chance because the Fargo movie is one of my all time favorites. I got hooked immediately in the first few minutes. I watched 4 episodes last night and I wanted to watch more. I stopped myself because I wanted to save some episodes for later and it was nearly 1AM. My fear on watching these types of shows is the first season or two might be great and then it really goes off the track. The first season of Heroes was like that. I loved the first season and then I thought it got bad really quick and I stopped watching it before the second season ended. There have been other show like that for me.

Just finished the BBC Sherlock Series on NetFlix and thought it was pretty good.

Too bad they were just mini movies and only about 3-4 episodes a year.

As of current I have been watching Better Call Saul. solid show.

Also I started watching Mad Men. I'm enjoying it. It is not a super dramatic show but there is just something about it that makes me want to keep watching.

I also started the Office on Netflix. I had caught the show here and there but never really sat down and "watched it" and it is an excellent show.
