What are you guys favorite Westerns? Mine is "Young Guns", what say you?

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.

One of my dad's favorite films and we've watched it together a bunch of times. I'll always think of my pops when I think of or see that movie.

so many good ones over the years

Older ones like the John Ford Triology

Some of the newer ones like Open Range

No way I could ever pick just one

I do like Open Range. Costner is good in westerns, With Duvall you can't beat it.

John Wayne: Eldorado, Searchers, Shootist
Clint Eastwood: Good bad and Ugly, Josey Wales
Costner: Dancing with Wolves, Open Range

Lonesome Dove was a mini series but needs to be there no matter what

High Noon

Butch Cassiday and the Sundance Kid

Wild Bunch

Magnificient Seven

there are just so many

Josey Wales. I like that it is sorta based on a real person.

Great list right there.

Pale Rider is one of my favorites.

I'll also add Silverado. The movie is ok and the soundtrack is one of my all time favorites.

I love Duvall's triology: Lonesome Dove, Open Range, and Broken Trail.

Supposedly based on Bill Wilson who was legendary with his pistols.

Wilson tried to stay out of the conflict until Union troops killed his family and destroyed his farm. He was hell to deal with after that. I don't blame him, but I am bias with my ancestors being Confederates.
