I was really disappointed when the team cut this guy soon after signing him.

I'm hoping that they'll reconsider that move and realize that a good blocking fullback would really help.

I'd like to see the team release Rucker (who I actually like) and re-sign Fiammetta.

Archer had mentioned that it might be a short goodbye and I hope that's the case. I think the run game missed the presence of a fullback last night.

I think that's a great point. People are jumping on Garrett for passing when they had the ball near the goal line. In reality, the Cowboys didn't run the ball well all night, and struggled in short yardage situations. I think you put MB and a guy like Fiametta in there, chances of running and having success doing it go way up.

I'm hoping that once MB comes back, they sign Fiametta back, and let go of Rucker.

I also like Rucker but the running game was ineffective in short yardage and could not provide any sustained push (OL also to blame). Fiammetta, if healthy, could provide the help needed in that area.

I would probably cut geathers? 7 delineman in a 3-4 is kind of over kill. I think a FB would contribute in more ways than geathers can. Not unless we keeping geathers for the future.

We suck at running the ball with out a fb too many times a linebacker meet jones in the hole.

Myself. I was glad to see us pick up Laurent Robinson but I wish we could have found a way to keep Fiammetta

Rucker also did a Leon Lett on the downed punt that McCray and McCann broke their backs trying to down on the 1 yard line.

Ruckers ball was a touchback before he got to it......initial contact by gunner had his foot in the endzone.....

Did the FB slip by the medical exam on his concussion level?......

To be quite honest, I'd be even more inclined to cut Rucker if he's the one that missed the block on the punt. Anyone know who blew it?

It probably wouldn't matter. Our TE's were blocking good but it seemed that Rex's defense knew our blocking schemes better than our own O-Line...LOL.

This was discussed in another thread, though I can't remember which one. It looked like a combination of Albright and Phillips on the line, and possibly Holley failed to see it coming as the up man, and blocked out to the right. Either way, I don't think Rucker was part of it.
