If Dallas ended up with a top 8 pick (they won't), I would be disappointed if we went with a RB tbh. Nothing against Elliott, b/c he's a great player, but with a top eight pick, I'd rather get an elite D-Lineman or WR like Treadwell.

But once Romo gets back, we'll win some games and likely end up picking in the 14-20 range.

This team will win 8 games tops. Draft no later than 16.

I love Elliott... but Treadwell is a special player. IMO it is easier to find a RB than it is a really good WR.

I would probably go with the WR at this point if Dallas picked top 10. Unless they think there is a RB that will be special.

At this point I take Treadwell and target the RB Booker from Utah in the second round. I LOVE Elliot and Henry but gotta take the stud WR.

If you're taking a RB in the top 10 they need to be a generational type talent like Gurley. Elliott is a good prospect, but he's not like Gurley. If we're picking in the top 8, I'm looking to trade up for one of the QBs. Not because we have to draft one, but because you've already had the crappy season you need to pick high and theres no reason to wait for another crappy season to address it. If you don't trade up, there's a decent chance Ramsey, Bosa, Nkemdiche or Hargreaves is there and you pick one of those if there, not RB.

In that senerio, I trade down and get Elliott and extra draft picks.

I think Goff could fall to the lower portion of the top 10. Lynch has leapfrogged him and Hackenberg has been really coming on. Its also a strong year for tier 2 guys so alot of teams with top 10 picks may pass on a QB in the first and look at guys like Wentz, Jones, Keil, Brissett or Hogan in the 2nd

Maybe. I think both Lynch and Goff go top 5. Cleveland and Houston will probably snatch them up if they ended up higher than the Cowboys. I think the scenario is likely moot because the Cowboys probably pick at best in the teens, but I still don't think Cleveland or Houston pass on those guys.

Hackenberg will probably be available whenever the Cowboys pick in the 1st of thats the route they choose to go.

I think has a good chance at jumping Goff. He gives Lynch a run for his money as far as the best physical tools in the draft and he has been comming on of late on the field. Ive seen scouts say the talk of Goff being a top of the draft QB may have been premature. Wont likey make it out of the top 10, but I think there is a good chance he us the third QB off the board

I like Hackenberg, but right now my two favorite guys for us are Goff and Wentz in the 1st or 2nd. Goff is just and outside chance but Went should be there in the 2nd. I think both QB's would develope and play well in a Romo centric offense

Lynch is awesome, but I bet he's QB1. I'm all for Goff if he's in range. He's not some giant arm QB, but has enough arm to comfortably make all the throws. What he does do is throw with anticipation and read coverage. He has enough tools below the neck, but to me it's what is above the neck that makes me giddy about him.

If you watched the PSU-NW game today then you were reminded (provided you haven't been living under a rock) how decidedly mediocre Hack is. I'm a die-hard PSU fan, but I'm also objective enough to say that he is awful at times. He started out 1 for 10. He took some bad sacks. He rarely puts the ball in the right location. Heck, Geno Lewis the WR threw a far better ball after picking up a fumbled end around and having 2 guys ready to blast him.

Take Hack off your draft board if you are a Cowboys fan. Hope he goes to the Commanders.
