This will be a short post, for two reasons-- 1) the Boys solved their FB problem by signing Lawrence Vickers (with Shaun Chapas providing competition), and 2) this is a LOUSY draft year for fullbacks...
At one point, I would have listed Chad Diehl from Clemson as a 6th or 7th round possibility, but he was barely able to break 5 seconds in the 40 at his Pro Day (with similarly substandard agility drills)... that's too slow for the NFL...
The only fullback I might draft would be Evan Rodriguez from Temple, who has a nice all-around game and might be on the board when the Boys pick in the 6th round... after the draft, there aren't many fullbacks that excite me, but as I mentioned in another post, I think that Cody Johnson from Texas might make a nice conversion project from RB to FB in the NFL, and while he's learning the ropes of his new job, he could be the team's goal line and short yardage back...
Like I said, there's not much to get worked up about at fullback in this draft... sure am glad we signed Vickers...
