FEB 25 Mock

wha

what round?

NFLDS has him at #121 overall which is the 5th round. That seems about right to me.

I do like him as a developmental guy at some point in the draft, but I'm not sure another developmental DT is a high priority. They are lacking immediate impact guys on DL and they are lacking developmental guys at some other positions like Safety.

Not a bad offering at all.
I wouldn't have Langford in my top 5 backs though. Grabbing one in R2 could bring supreme value as RBs almost always fall.
The Josh Shaw pick is popular but unlikely given his history, not just the lie but sitting out so long. Good athlete tho for sure.
I really like the Lockett pick. Harris replacement with far more WR skill.
Likely a better WR than Street.

When you get to that 6th and 7th round area I'd avoid DL. Almost no chance to make the roster but other teams might scoop them before they get to the practice squad. I actually think we are really deep at DT. Crawford, Brent, Hayden, Bishop, Coleman, McClain....

Same at QB. No need to use a 7th when you can just grab an UDFA to come in and compete with a prior UDFA in Vaughn. Likely a practice squadder at best.

I got J Shaw in the wrong spot he will go in the third

3 Javorius Allen, RB, 6 #220 USC

4 Ronald Darby, CB, 5-11 #195 Florida State

but you can see an upgrade at the DT position?

1 Owamagbe Odighizuwa, DE, 6-3 #257 UCLA - Spencers replacemant

2 Xavier Cooper, DT, 6-3 #300 Washington

3 Javorius Allen, RB, 6 #220 USC

4 Ronald Darby, CB, 5-11 #195 Florida State

5 Derrick Lott, DT, 6-4, #300 Tennessee- Chattanooga

7A Jermauria Rasco, DE. 6-4 #259 LSU

7B Jamarcus Nelson, WR/KR 5-11 #160 UAB

Nelson leads Conference USA and is No. 5 nationally in kickoff return average at 33.2 per return

Clocked at a blistering 4.28 seconds in the 40-yard dash, Nelson was the fastest of this year's combine participants. He looks more like a track star in shoulder pads than a traditional wide receiver at a spindly 5-10, 156 pounds, but caught the ball well during drills in Indianapolis. - Rob Rang,
