R#@!$#@$@!$#@%#@!^$#^!#%#@!$!@$$!#@$!!!!!!!!!

I'm sick and tired of my DVR not recording all the shows. If a show runs long, you should have a warning or something. SUCH BS! Only got to see the 1st round of Fedor's fight.

round 2 is on youtube, it probably won't be up very long though

If you missed the card, just check Justin.tv over the next few days. People will play the card endlessly over the next few days.

I give the Rogers kid credit. He cut him up good and wasn't scared.

That punch was nasty.

Yeah it really was. Fedor seems to throw with everything he's got.

Right before the punch he started getting light on his feet and I was thinking to myself he was feeling something.

And Rogers did go toe to toe pretty well. He's gotta have some heavy hands to do that kind of damage off a jab. I honestly thought he was going to take him for a second.

wow, that was a quick stoppage. fedor was getting beat down in the first and the ref let it go. rogers gets rocked with one punch, and then 2 glancing punches and he calls the fight. I would have liked to have seen him give Rogers an opportunity to prove he could fight back before stopping it.

Fedor won the fist round and he was never getting beaten down like you claim. Fedor dominated the second round and then he landed a bomb on Rogers which knocked him out. Then when his head hit the canvas, he woke back up. Then Fedor hit him with a glancing shot and then he hit him with a big punch that knocked him out again. Rogers curled up into the fetal position after that punch on the ground. That was not a glancing shot and the fight was over right then. John McCarthy stopped it at the right time. Rogers is lucky he stopped the fight when he did because it could have gotten ugly for Rogers if he didn't stop it then.

Also, this isn't just some ref, he's John McCarthy, the best ref in UFC history. He knows when a fight is over. Curled up in the fetal position is no way to defend yourself. Just watch some replays of the end of the fight if you don't think that it was a good stoppage.

Likely fedor wouldn't win.

He hasn't really fought any decent fighters almost all have been handed to him on a silver platter.

The one thing he has going is the guys around him know how to hype the're making him this huge big bad fighter when he's fought nobodies that sign up because its a win win situation if they go in and lose they get a nice payday because a fedor fight brings in good money and the slight chance they win? their name would be everywhere as soon as its over.

Now Brock has some good hype machines behind him as well and while he hasn't fought any big names *in their prime* as of yet he's dominated all but his loss to mir when he got over confident and was far less aware and skilled with submissions than he is now

It's a fight I would like to see but will probably never happen until Fedor loses that first fight then they will want to play ball they don't want to give the UFC a chance to hype up one of their fighters on the "he beat Fedor" thing

Fedor dominated and beat Minotauro Nogueira in his prime twice. Fedor beat CroCop in his prime. Fedor beat Kevin Randleman, Marc Coleman twice, Tim Sylvia, and Andrei Arlovski as well. He has beaten a former UFC champion 7 times. Fedor has also beaten Mark Hunt, Matt Lindland, Heath Herring, Ricardo Arona, and Brett Rogers as well. Fedor has beaten more top Heavyweights than anyone in mma history(I know Matt Lindland is not a Heavyweight. To say Fedor has never fought anyone is ridiculous and it sounds like something Dana White would say.

On Sherdog some people are saying that Fedor had his nose injured while training and that was when he originally got the injury. If that's true, then Rogers just opened up an injury that was already there. Still it was a nice shot, but it sort of makes the nose injury Fedor suffered more understandable.

Fedor has some quick hands for a big heavyweight fighter. I still think he's highly over-rated over the last few years.

At one time I agreed he was the hands down best fighter in the world at HW. But he hasn't fought anyone worth a crap in a while now and his last 3 wins are over guys that I seriously don't believe could beat any of the top 3 or 4 HWs in the UFC at this point in their careers.

That said you can't count Fedor out cause he has punching power, takes punches well, and he has those quick hands. If he and Lesnar faced there is every bit the good chance he'd KO Lesnar.

However if they went to the ground then Fedor would be in trouble regardless off how good he is on the ground because of the enormous size and strength difference he'd be giving up to Brock. If Brock could get him in that chest to chest position on the ground it would be very difficult for Fedor to do much about it.

That said as much as I'd love to see the fight, and I'd love to see Brock smash him, I'd probably say that Fedor would keep it on their feet long enough to KO Brock.
