I'm back to this message board, it's been over 24 hours, think im still numb but for now talking to you folks, about life and my favorite and only team is a good idea. You guys are amazing for being so supportive of someone you don't even know. Don't think that's lost on me. Let's Go Cowboys.

I'm awake and still kicking, thanks you all. Guess I slept in a bit. Funeral is in a few days and I'm a pall bearer or however you spell it. I was one of the people to carry His mom, my grandmother to her grave, Bless Her Heart. Looks like it's happening again to another one of my heroes, I don't know what to do except catch up on my team, use this place like a drug. Just thought since you have all been so great to me, I'd let you know...plus this place is like therapy for me, you guys are the best.

Quick update before my phone stops working. I lost my dad this morning around 6 am...he fought like hell, just like he taught me to. This is tough, but reading your replies honestly brought me to tears, not used to so much support...my Cowboys family is amazing, that's you guys. Thanks you guys and beautiful gals.

I'm really sorry, man. Losing your dad is one of the hardest things you'll ever have to deal with. It definitely was for me.

Keeping you and your family in my thoughts.

Hey, brother, I haven't revisited this thread since I first posted in it. First of all, I'm sorry to hear about your loss. It's a tough thing to lose a parent. Lost my mom in February of 2014 (hard to believe it's almost been 3 years). There's nothing that I can say that will make you feel better. There just isn't. The only thing I can personally offer is an open ear (PM me anytime, if you need brother). Best wishes to you, man. Sending positive mojo your way.
