For some reason I'm feeling very sad about watching other teams play in the playoffs this weekend. Don't always feel this sad when the Cowboys haven't made the playoffs or have an early exit. It sucks. Jerry and Garrett better do all they can so that we won't be sitting here watching other teams in the playoffs. :( Some big changes need to be made starting with Cutting the Dead weight player not doing their jobs correctly

Just don't watch them. If the Cowboys aren't in the playoffs, football ends week 17 for me.

Yeah but I love Football over all even when my favorite teams in College or Pro aren't playing. Watching or No watching it still feels sad to know that the Cowboys aren't in the playoffs when we blew so many games that could have had us in it if we had won

Jerry should be embarrased. The eyes of america right now are on reliant stadium, not cowboys stadium. That crowd is buzzing.

he'd probably tell you there was a game at cowboys stadium last night too.

Yeah it was so nice seeing Cowboys Stadium filled and knowing that our team won't have anymore games in it until September. But I'm sure Jerry is happy he'll receive a percentage of the ticket sales last night.

As long as Jerry is the GM we'll watch Big events come to Cowboys Stadium where every one but the COwboys themselves will play in Big time important Games.

Disappointed I could understand, but sad? You need something more in your life partner.

;)

It sucks hearing Gnats fans tell me how unprepared the Cowboys were.

Is it as bad as you bad mouthing Jerry all the time? :laugh2:

What goes around comes around.

Not really. If this team had made the playoffs, then Jerry would be thinking we have enough parts for a SB run next season, when we clearly need more youth and talent in a younger group of developing core players.

I hear ya... I am sickened as I watch a team (texans) play with their star defender and quarterback not on the field, and they are on the verge of winning a playoff game - just sickening. Start by cutting Jerry Jones first and then, cut the dead weight starting with Newmi and others.

Yeah totally with you. Its good and bad, bad because we would of probably gotten our butts kicked, 1st round, good at least we had 1 more game to watch. But in reality we are about 2-3 years from contending if Romo stays healthy!

Me too, I am sick of this franchising sucking every single year. Weve been patiently waiting for almost 20 years for them to get this thing turned around but it just isnt happening.

I'm with you this year. It's been too painful to even watch any post season games. My rule of thumb has always been a one week cooling off/mourning period.

If we get eliminated late in the season, I skip the wildcard round because I felt we should have been there, made it at least that far.

If we lose in the conference championship game, I take a pass on the SB. Never did see SB 15,16,17 or 29.

I didn't watch a second of football after we lost to the Giants in 2007 til the 2nd half of that SB.

But this year I think I'm taking a complete pass. **** it!

How do you know that? Maybe after this season with all the changes that will be made?

;)

Did you know that nothing like a game of football should make you sick. You're just making yourself sick, not the Cowboys.

I mean, it's not like eating a taco...

;)

And, I am sickened as I watch Joseph, a free agent CB this past summer, make play after play in this game after a pro-bowl year...

I know what you're saying. It's just irritating watch how this team especially on the Defensive side was filled with mentally Weak players with no fight at all. Yet other teams who aren't hyped up to be as talented as the Cowboys can go through tough injuries and still find a way to make a run in the playoffs.

It's going to take some time to replace the dead weight with talented players who can do their job, time for some one on the Defensive line besides Ware try to get pressure on the QB and time to get Secondary players who won't get constantly burned.

I have my doubts about Garrett next year, can he coach up to have the mentally toughness that's needed to be a strong playoff contender?

Jerry still thinks we are a talented team that just had some bad breaks. He is the MAIN person that overvalues the talent on this roster year after year. Just listen to his weekly radio show and that much is obvious.
